so you are saying he won't refund you the money?
...

I'm allowed to resell my positions. But I understand why they do not want to change the rules of the game halfway tru the IPO, to allow and help me resell my shares. I think its fair that no refund is allowed, at least from their perspective.
...

Thanks.  Glad we are on the same page.

keccak512 can I ask that you look into allowing a resale of 10 BTC of my share?

Current IPO pot is at 57.40086441 BTC. If you allow me to resell, this means that the next 10 BTC added, will still leave the pot at the same value.

This will be beneficial to ALL investors involved. Not allowing me to do this, will look greedy on your part, IMO. Please advice.

+1 anyone?

bakedrice, if people decide that they trust you enough then you will find those who would like to buy a share of your stake. Excuse me, I wouldn't do it. I would just invest in the IPO instead which makes sure coins are received just after the IPO is finished directly from the developers -- just as every other stakeholder.  Why not ask keccak512 for a refund of that 10 BTC?

For all of  us stakeholders, it definitely plays in our favor to buy from bakedrice, and not increase the pot further: this is not complicated to understand, and we should appreciate the offer from him, as this help our stakes proportion wise. From a fundraising perspective, this doesn't help and it is completely fair from the dev if they don't offer that option, or try not to encourage it. Note that the dev has been reasonable since beginning so far, and that they did not provide any information on the 20BTC funding even though it was hurting them. I respect that very much.
Personally, if I would not have bought my stake yet, I would have bought from bakedrice, as to put myself and everyone else in a better situation. Surely everyone is free and smart enough to judge for themselves.

All fair points.

This is equivalent to us allowing someone else to buy 10 BTC of your investment and then refunding you 10 BTC.  We cannot do this, as refunds are not permitted.  It doesn't matter if it's 10 BTC or 0.01 BTC.  Everyone must play by the same rules, regardless of their investment size.

NO escrow, NO refund, NO resale.

Stay away from this coin if you want good for yourself. Things are starting to look VERY bad.

The voting on block rewards sounds very innovative - props to the dev's.

The way I understand it, IPO stakeholders with a majority % will have a vested interest in keeping block rewards low.
So they would be the most inclined to spend time/money farming CPU miners, purely to swing the vote in their favor.
They'd protect their IPO investment by contributing to limiting coins generated.

Whereas miners with no IPO stake would undoubtedly vote for higher block rewards to their benefit as late adopters.

Feel free to disagree  Tongue
I'm very curious to see how this turns out and so am on board just for the ride.

Thanks.  It's really interesting to hear what people think will be the outcome of the decentralized block reward voting. Smiley

NO escrow, NO refund, NO resale.

Stay away from this coin if you want good for yourself. Things are starting to look VERY bad.

I really don't understand the mindset of some people just giving money to someone they don't know and can likely never trace based on something that stranger says with little proof to back up their claim and no attempts to find another escrow or come up with their own safety net solution for investors.

I really really hope that Keccak is legit if only to keep confidence in crypto currency in general, but if he isn't and it turns out to be another Stack then these people deserve to lose their money.

I'll be here on day 1 though ready to mine with my cores so I hope it is real, as what is promised does seem good but I can't personally invest in blind faith

So don't take my comments as bash at the coin or yourself Keccak because I do hope it succeeds Smiley

I am blunt, don't like it ? Too bad

Hello!

This coin sounds really cool and innovative Smiley

I would like to potentially claim the bounty for the Heavycoin's First Dedicated Forum I started. (I also run forum.max-coin.net and would really like to build a nice new Heavycoin community on the web, as I've done for Maxcoin).

well done and thanks!

You are the first to have completed the full bounty.  Thus, 10,000 HVC are now preallocated for you for running the forum.  This will be distributed to you immediately after launch (bounties phase).
I will PM you with the rest of the details.

Seriously guys, when reading the Alt currency ANN posts, didn't you read like:

- shit
- crap
- another clone
- crap
- worst than crap
- holly cow, wtf

AND THENNNNN - you saw Heavycoin, and you were like - Holly Cow - this is what Bitcoin should've been.

You then keep on reading keccak's post and you're like:

- damn (in a good way)
- nice
- oh wow
- finally
- guy knows his stuff
- sign ME UP! WHEEEREEE DO I SIGN UPPPPP?? I WANT IT YESTERDAY.

This will be a Game changer coin - just as Quark promised, but never delivered.

Smiley

Seriously, I haven't been this excited about a coin since Satoshi published his original Bitcoin spec.

NO! I thought wtf is this shit. This is just a way to hide a massive premine.

I saw 5,000,000 IPO. I would consider that a premine.

From a miners point of view this coin has a possible 12% premine.

I would never mine this coin.

We've been approached by an exchange, CoinMarket.io, who is interested in listing Heavycoin.

How does the community feel about this?
We'll be doing our own research, but any feedback on this exchanges reputation would be helpful.
