hehehe, i'm still planing to buy more but the current method of purchase sucks due to the wait time, can't you use automated escrow service instead

I'm considering creating an automated system for it - specifying it as we speak.

Wait time is pretty much zero during GMT 10:00 to 00:00, outside of that I'm asleep, apologies. Usual nuances of eating, speaking to family, nipping to the shop etc.

y3804, let's hope so, I'd love to see orders that low. please do read my previous replies regarding multi week strategy.

As long as your IPO isn't complete, ANY amount above 0.001 is going to be a profit. Some people will sell for 5% profit, 10%, 50%.. but obviously the most greedy will be left with their coins..

That's why putting a 3BTC sell order right now is absolutely safe. Who knows? Maybe a whale holding 10K WOLF is going to sell them for 0.00105 and buy more from you next monday. Still a 5% profit.

I can't even sell my coins at 0.0011. Some cunt is automatically selling 33.3333 WOLF below my order. Sell order removed for now

I'm happy to buy them back and destroy them for your original 3 BTC (minus the tiny transfer fees).

Why would you do that anyway? It's my loss, not yours.

Once I get my BTC back I'll buy more @ 0.001.

I have a 100 WOLF sell order @ 0.00109. Feel free to buy. Once the 100 are gone, I'll put 100 more, 25 times.

Okay. It would be no loss though, 897k coins worth 897 is the same as 900k coins worth 900. Happy trading.

Pineapples, welcome and congrats Smiley

Wrong. It would be a loss. 897k for 897 BTC = 0.001BTC/WOLF. Why would you buy my order at 0.0011?

EDIT: Fckers. Now someone is replicating my 100 WOLF sell orders for less than 0.00109. Fuck them, seriously

This is already getting interesting and buys haven't even started yet. Worth the price of admission just to see what happens.

Wrong. It would be a loss. 897k for 897 BTC = 0.001BTC/WOLF. Why would you buy my order at 0.0011?

I offered for you to send back the coins (minus fees of 10%+10%) ~2454.5 WOLF and I'd give you your 3 BTC back.

I think the main point is, whatever you do, you can't make a loss on these coins if you sell them at any point in the next 9 weeks on market. The order will definitely fill at 5,10, more %. Unless that is every single buyer puts up every single coin purchased at +x%, then and only then, won't it fill.

Honestly, I'd suggest you slow down, get a strategy and implement it - reacting to feelings and minor market moves is a quick way to loose money and make rash decisions you regret later. Every person holding this coin is a trader or investor, likely looking to get all the weak hands out of the game as quickly as possible.

What I don't understand is why people are buying this coin on poloniex NOW for over the .001 IPO price when they could buy directly from OP for .001...   I think I am not understanding something about this coin.

the price diff is really small and it makes up for the waiting time.

They're

1. Not willing to invest the effort to buy the coin directly from the OP (requires at least several minutes!!)
2. misunderstanding the coins principles

As often said. Bitcointalk, or reddit/r/whatever-coin does not represent the entire crypto trading community. Some people may not know what they are buying, or care.

Also, there are many people who with many strategies, a common strategy is to buy a coin at whatever base price is, then sit on it for x months or years. Many crypto traders are playing with free money they made from trading, and can afford any loss incurred, especially when the odds of profit are in their favour, given the bigger ecosystem and the point that crypto is a young growing technology sector. 0.001 may be 1000x lower than the price in a year.

Much of this is a learning / analytical exercise, to see the different approaches of people.

Additionally, there are of course gamblers, btc-whales, and manipulators to factor in at any point. The biggest WOLF whale currently has 9k. We are only hours in to this though.. somebody could place a 300 BTC order tomorrow.

Much to consider.

Finally, it's called InsanityCoin with InsanityWolf MEME, and a novel trading game with skilled players - what do you expect!?

If one is required I can make one easily.

However google InsanityCoin and you get this thread as #1, with full discussion and honest feedback from buyers. What more could a website offer than this?

I personally like having the dev unavailable at certain times of the day. I think it should even be scheduled. It creates a more natural market, because arbitrage cannot be done other than with coins that we already hold. This caused some interesting things last night with crazy pumps and such. Who doesn't want to see that?

Yes, I understand. I just think it'd be an interesting dynamic if coins were officially unavailable for a set period of time each day. Before the time starts, ideally we'd know exactly how many coins were out in the wild (or, the maximum amount, there should be less due to the fees). Then, someone could start crazy pumps, knowing that no one can go and just arb it out.

Insane? Probably.
Do I like it? Absolutely.

might be good to have something like a drip feed, or limited coins per week..
otherwise it'd be easy to sell some coins, go back to the source buy some more with the earnings etc..

But this is the whole point! The outcome is unknown. If people on the exchange are willing to pay more than .001 each, then the sellers should absolutely have the chance to go buy more @ 0.001.

Why would this be bad thing?

The buy volume and the exchange sell price are low enough, and the competition is high enough that it is not easy anyway.
