So now all our WOLF holdings have been devalued by 10%? Not sure how I feel about that.

No, let's discuss tomorrow during the meeting, that's what we're there for - it's a constructive rather than destructive step, please do attend

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Does this mean there won't be any trading tomorrow? Buy orders at 0.0006 at the moment: is only going to get worse without trading I'm afraid, as people will dump what they have at whatever price, as no guarantee there will be an Insanity Sunday next week... Nobody will buy from the pot, people will sell below 0.001, and price will crash. People need stability at the moment, need to be sure the coin will be bought back, and the price is guaranteed. Otherwise there will be massive dumping and no interest in the coin any more. Also your goal to destroy as much as possible won't be achieved as you won't have money to buy coins back. We really need to do something tomorrow, and not talk and wait a whole week for another Sunday to do something.

Not sure what to do... My money is bound in Wolf, and I was hoping to make at least some profit. Maybe you can play for an hour or something? Just to free some money? I'm affraid if we don't do so, the price will drop even lower!

Anyway: whatever can raise the price, is supported by me.

+1

Yes, if this sunday will be canceled the price next week will drop much lower. The most important thing to keep this coin alive is to make the insanitysunday. Otherwise the pot next week won't also get filled because of the price drop and the next weeks will be the same.

So dev, if you have any emergency plan, investors or supporters left, who could increase the pot for this week, now it's the time to activate them! Otherwise the future of this coin won't be very good.

Other suggestion:
You set the price for this week and the next weeks to 0.0009 instead of 0.001 so the dump will be avoided to at least 0.0009 and you can be sure that the pot will be filled again. So maybe this weeks pot get filled or at least the next weeks pot. I think this is the only way to ensure that the pot get filled and avoid a huge dump.

We can discuss all of this tomorrow, I've considered the 0.0009 issue and have taken account of it in the proposal I'll put forward Smiley

ps: consider 0.0009 as a short term interim base, wouldn't go selling any cheaper than that. Proposal will create a rolling game where market is active all week.

Dev, I think you must act now, to avoid that it is going to be worse. Tomorrow it could be to late. Lower the supply to 0.0009 so it's 'just' a 10% loss and avoid a bigger dump.

I analysed the market behaviour the last 3 month and I think waiting till tomorrow isn't the best idea. Lower the supply NOW to avoid dumping and minimize the loss.

How many wolves are left? 250k? 250000 x 0.001 = 250BTC = 454$ x 250BTC = 113500$ market cap, which is nothing.
So just rename the coin to some meme and gain 1000%! (bad joke I know)

In case You attended IRC last Insanity Sunday You heard about dev's plans after injection. That were so many great ideas. Realize just some and Wolf will become a top 20 coin.
You have to see, that we are just at ~113k mc (assuming 250k wolves left) and got a dev, who is able to create a coin worth much more.
Ever thought about getting listed on http://coinmarketcap.com?

Problem now is the rebuy at 0.001 and the massiv accidental dumps adding a zero last sunday plus some people sitting on their bags.
I'm sure, that there is a solution, it just needs to be discussed.

Exactly, and as I said before "[my] proposal will create a rolling game where market is active all week."

I must stress that it's all of you who control the price, not me, there are buy orders at 0.0006, but the lowest sell was at 0.0009, which is fine as some people bought at that last sunday.

We will discuss everything tomorrow, agree a plan the majority is happy with, and move forward together.

I won't participate in this week's insanitysunday. I've moved all my BTCs over Bitfinex because of the recent BTC crash. I wish all traders good luck

BTW, remember to cash out at some point. Don't become a bag holder. Even if it's a 10% loss, no big deal. I wouldn't wait until there is no buy support left (look at HEX-coin).

Calm down... Still 3 weeks and 3 pumps left. Just get out asap. I'm sure that if you play smart, you'll get all your BTCs back

I guess, it's important to evaluate the situation without fear:
Not enough are buying from the dev anymore to keep the game running. No problem.

So the market has decided: The game phase is over.

The 9 weeks were just an initial guess - 6 weeks are not worse than 9 weeks.

What to do now?
Phase 2: Destroy all remaining unsold WOLF, not after week 9, but now.

And move to phase 3. Important step is to free the WOLF:
Remove the 10% destruction fee, so that it can be used as a currency,
and transferred away from exchange (dangerous) to wallet/offline (secure).

The market impulse is:
All WOLF that could be are distributed - who has none,
needs to start paying higher and higher prices, from now on.

In contrast, creating value-lowering tricks now, to blindly continue the game - would tip the balance.

I can understand that some got quite addicted to this game now, and would love to continue it endlessly. Who would not want that, a game with only winners :-)

[ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders

Not: coin for traders only.

So far, the short-sighted traders could profit the most. BTC has been transferred from investors to short term traders.

And in recent weeks, with the many up down swings, that got more extreme. Only those who were willing to sell for a tiny margin were rewarded at all. The shortest-sighted ones could play the highest number of times, maximize their profits. Rewards encourage behavior. A downward spiral in the highest achievable price was inevitable.

And now, the patience of some long term holders (and thus believers-in-a-higher-price) ... collapsed for the first time so dramatically, that it does not make sense to buy from the reservoir anymore. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think,  the reservoir only contains dead coins now, coins which need to be destroyed.  And of course ... no pot, no game this week.  All natural, nothing bad about it. 9 weeks turned out to be a too long projection, but who would not forgive that? This amazing game has never been tried before, so I don't expect anyone to be able to 100% predict the long term-behaviour of such a social experiment.

I have played short-sightedly, too ("trader"). Didn't make much plus, but a bit - thank you. However, I also deliberately hold coins ("investor"), and that little plus that I made in the past weeks would be destroyed now, if the price collapses.  I guess it won't - if the next phase is started quickly, with a then rare coin, and a competent dev behind it.

I am here since the first Sunday. In the beginning, I had huge difficulties with trust, so I tried to look really deep. It's always difficult through the internet, but I decided I do trust the Dev.  I have seen him wrongly predict future behaviour of the pack (and we all do that) - but I have never seen him lying. So I stick with it - I trust the dev.

And he has been talking about this as a distribution phase;
and about a coin that will be alive afterwards. A coin with exciting features.

And a coin also for investors.

I hope I offered a little illumination, InsanityDev.

Thanks BlockChains, it was more confirming than illuminating to be honest, you brought a lot of weight on the BTC side as a trader, and thus had the most impact on the order book each week. Perfectly valid strategy though and I hope it served you well. To be honest you and one other spent most of each week pricing each other out, took the lowest gains, and had the most impact on the overall price, if you worked together you could have made considerably more.

The next phase is a move to bolster the InsanityCoin economy, provide a solid footing for it going forward, to reward the longer term holders/investors, and provide enough constant weight on the order book that even the largest traders can't knock it down without taking a loss, almost a trader 51% attack mitigation measure. Whilst still keeping scope for traders to have some activity.
