Poloniex opens the front page (that with all the coins icons) but asks to sign in to enter the site. Is it a new protection, or a hack?

Morning all, Poloniex status, use this to track: https://twitter.com/PoloniexObviously all of our BTC is safe in cold storage and not on the exchange yet, and I won't be transferring anything until I've spoken to Poloniex about the current situation. I'm sure everything is safe there also. Worst case, our game will be a little delayed today, however I'm hopeful that all issues will be resolved by then, one way or another, I'll reach out to them myself to offer help. All pending wolf orders and pm's will be handled over the next 2 hours until cut off at 12:00 UTC. You may as well consider week 2 and week 3 pots full now, and we're on to week 4! Will update again shortly after handling the above. I hope this Sunday finds you all well. |

looking forward to the excitement.
the game starts at 2am my time, so last i got up and looked an hourish the end time but it was well and truly over :p
i'll try and get up maybe 4am my time and check it out !!

poloniex is down all the time. i could not imagine an exchange being more sluggish than coinedup, but then poloniex came.  |

Disagree, it's traffic has quadrupled, it's features have grown, and it's been under a DDoS attack, but still there and being worked on. Coinedup died with 1/10th of the traffic and no ddos. Let's give him some time to adapt and upgrade, if we want a solid alternative exchange we need to support these people who are trying hard to offer us one, Tristan has already proven he's dedicated, skilled, and trustworthy. 25 minutes till WOLF supply is cut for the week. |

This. Deal  Please appreciate that last week I had to keep everyone updated in order to mitigate fears of me running with mass of bitcoin. Tomorrow you'll hear nothing from me between 18:00 and 23:59. Looking forward to watching the troll box on poloniex Disagree. We should have updates on what you have done as soon as it is done. No ramping, no speculations, just updates. I.e. if you spend 20 BTC then we should know about it as soon as it is done. Also will you be staying out of this and stay neutral? |
