I think this is a great idea and a very good news. They are starting to see the brighter side of cryptocurrency, ad I'm sure lots of companies will tend to adopt this method sooner or later. Cryptocurrency will be made known throughout the globe with this incentive.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I was surfing reddit and I stumbled on this post: https://news.livecoinwatch.com/samsung-makes-cryptopayments-possible/
It says that soon, Samsung, the IT giants from Korea are planning to start accepting cryptocurrencies as means of payments. Is this a right step in the right direction for Bitcoin and Alts alike or is this bad news for us?

This will increase the amount of use of crypto currency that will affect their cost and popularity. The more crypto currencies are used in payments, the better for the crypto-currency industry.

It is a good Indication that electronic giant like Samsung will be accepting crypto as a means of payment for their products and services that's a plus for cryptocurrency because more sectors of the world economy will start integrating into the idea of Blockchain technology for payments and I bet it can only get better

Samsung has announced that it is not true that it will be accepting payments with crypto in countries Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

The entities that could make possible the sale of Samsung devices was CopPay a blockchain platform for payments of cryptocurrencies that accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, among others and recive EUR, USD without payment fees and a Baltic premium reseller of Samsung.

CopPay provided the solution to add the crypto payment method through its platform to the Samsung reseller, all tests were successfully made. CopPay assures that an agreement was made but the supposed agreement did not come to happy term because Samsung has denied that it accepted payments in crypto in these countries.

You can know the CopPay source here: CopPay’s CEO Official Statement

I think it's just fine because this samang gives people more confidence in cryptography, that is, the firm is trusted by the tycoon crypto and therefore it gives a very large advertisement for the crypto, I will not be surprised if Samsung launches his cryptology!

Samsung is a company from Korea. I think this move of Samsung is so late. Korea is the country has volume trading top 1 on the world. No trader has experienced didn't know Korea was the country pumped the Bitcoin price up to $20,000 in the past. Even the trending ICO is also a part of their move still happen from the last year till today. So, why a big Korean company accepts Cryptocurrency as payments so late like this?

Just Nao Tomori and Bitcoin ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It might look like a good news but has it been verified? The space is full of fake news recently and the link does not have anything to relate with Samsung. We need genuine news for a regular  and high volume trade. The price will not just go up if the demand is not improved and such big platform can be a driving force.

In a general sense, it would be amazing if tech giants like Samsung would support cryptocurrencies. It would mean they will adopt it and so do their customers/users.

I can't wait for steps like these, though this particular piece of news intel was not correct. Maybe in the near future? Smiley

I think this is indeed a very good achievement for cryptocurrency because with this development, it will not take long before crypto will become accepted globally.

It's a good thing to accept cryptocurrencies especially from a large company such as Samsung. Maybe in the future, there will be more large companies to accept payment thru cryptocurrency. It just takes some time.

It is a good thing that a big company like Samsung is starting to realize where this generation is headed. Crypto currencies have the potential to make our lives easier and more convenient compared to traditional processes. Samsung is a Korean company, and south Koreans are known to be one of the countries who are quite acquainted with crypto.

If Samsung starts it too then it means the acceptance for bitcoin is increasing which will help other people and countries to think about the legalization of BTC.

Why would this thing considered to be a bad news? Adoption is always been a positive thing specially for those people who do use up crypto or bitcoin itself because they can utilize their crypto holdings on using up Samsungs services or just simply buying out phones or any other purposes that they would imply such thing. Big companies like this would really make some good impact because if other companies would see such move made by Samsung then sooner or later they would follow the same path.

Definitely good, any new news about one of the giants of the market that he started working with the crypt or accept payments in the crypt or launched his technology on the blockchain, will always have a positive impact on the market, and the capitalization activity
