DONE with spamming reports. It's up-to mods to decide weather to trash the whole spam thread or go with them. Will report once my reports are handled by Welsh or mprep. On the contrary, the whole ULTRIX Thread was trashed with numerous replies drowning deep along with the thread 

While I was going through these spammer's posts, I came across an interesting spam thread (Blockchain.io) Here the newbies does the foll tasks:

1. They simply quote the whole ANN and leave
2. They post "Good Project"
3. Each newbie post some plagiarism content and leave

Of the 5.9k posts in this thread, around 1-2k of them are plagiarism content stolen from various crypto websites. Rest 2k are "Good Project" posts. Should the mods trash the whole thread or delete each and every newbie post present in the thread?

Checking the User profile and  post history and thread where he has posted, checking the post and if he has spammed, report the post or if the whole thread is Spam reporting the thread.

I am doing many reports, but I am not sure about some things.

I found threads with 800 pages of twitter bounties "proof of work"... others with 150 of telegram names....
Other threads have 100 pages of "good project".

However, does theymos really wants those threads to be deleted? I don't know.

Reporting one by one every "good project" post is ineffective.
Reporting the OP results in an "unhandled report".

Proof of work twitter bounties I am not reporting, as I understand Theymos wants these bounties to exists, as it gives traffic to the forum. Am I right?

I really don't consider a twitter bounty hunter a "shit poster". He is not even a poster, he is just pasting his bounties stuff. However, if he goes to a Bitcoin Discussion thread and starts posting "Bitcoin is the future because it's a digital money" or whatever, then he is shitposting. But I don't see these kind of posts by the users in LoyceV list.

Any thoughts  about this?

I'm thinking of a suggestion but I will just post it here . Since in Ivory Tower section, users with Full Member and up are the ones who can post there, I'm thinking of putting a rank requirement in order to post in the Announcement section. Maybe the requirement is you must have a rank of Member - Legendary and Copper Members.

In my observation, users who are ranked Newbies and Jr. members are ones who are spammers especially on the Announcement section. I think this can help us in cleaning the forum. This is applied on Announcement Section only . Just a suggestion

Well, this thread seems to be working in increasing the amount of reports being made from my observation. Unless, Sundays are normally like this. I woke up to around 500 reports, and they were still being made as I was dealing with them. I also had to step away, and some other moderator stepped in, and I still returned to quite a few hundred later on.
