That results in 277 Newbie accounts that posted at least one of those. I'll list them here, and I'll start reporting them on my own. I'll see how far I get.
Yesterday, I've reported most of those homograph spambots (click my quote for the list). Most of the posts got deleted by a Mod, but most of the accounts didn't get nuked.
I would like to know why, as this was a terrible waste of my time. There is no legitimate use for a homograph attack, there were about 200 accounts bumping the same thread in the same style, and getting one post deleted for each bot does no damage at all to the bot owner.
Up to yesterday, the homograph spambots would get nuked after being reported. If they're no longer getting nuked, that is very discouraging to report them ever again.

Same thing with haiku bots. Sometimes they get nuked, sometimes banned without nuking, sometimes one post gets deleted, sometimes nothing happens at all. It depends on who handles the report and apparently rule interpretations vary greatly between moderators.

I gave up on trying to figure this out. If reporting the same user 20 times is what it takes I'll do that.

Please go through on it. Thanks!

I give up a bit faster than that Sad
With 250 users on my homograph suspects list, each having an average of 10 to 20 posts, I'm not going to report thousands of posts. Hilariousandco was already complaining about users who suddenly started reporting a lot since theymos mentioned the Reporting badge. And it feels like a total waste of time when I'm trying to clean 200 bots from the forum, and most of them still get away with it.

I start reporting before that thread opened from theymos ! To keep a lot of forum sections clean as far we can do it!

I am not doing it for Reporting badge, I do it for the forum to get this kind of garbage down as far I can do! It is only a drop in the hot stone but hopefully, it will help a bit!

You're not getting fired up to see these accounts' posts to be gone in the community, I think? It really is a tiring thing as of the moment especially if there are too many of them.
I think the GOOD reporters are still at the ratio of 1:1000. And I guess that badge is just a bluff.
And as for me, I don't hit the BUTTON if it wasn't like a sore in my eyes.

Bump bots are isolated in their own threads. Deleting the posts doesn't matter at all, as the thread was bumped and that post has served its purpose. Nobody reads the thread anyway, so it doesn't matter to the community. The bot can easily make many new posts as long as it doesn't get banned, and that's why a ban is the only thing that makes sense for those cases.

If its the only way, then how about adding some extra features on it which is the IP BAN. In which these bots are surely connected with 1 IP ADDRESS.

I think you, Vod and Dmdmdr ( should I also include Jet Cash? I think he's also knowledgeable in this kind of field ) can make this possible also with the help of some mods Admins here.

Mods don't have access to IP addresses, only Admins.

New spam thread : 💰💲[$3,600,000 ][X-Block][BOUNTY]The first global Blockchain 4.0💲💰

Most post are all about being a great project. I have reported on what I think are Spam posts what is suspected about it is that it's a bounty thread but somehow it becomes an ANN thread.

New spam thread : [ANN] [PRE-SALE] Mit-RA: Prevent Water Crisis & Get Profits ✅✅✅

I reported spam posts all over the page but somehow I get dazzle if it's a spam thread or an "Answer and Question" thread (don't know if it's good or not to see) because of too many questions in this thread. I guess this is a new scheme they got to bump the thread and I see also in there that the OP has replying every post even though he can quote it one time.

Edit:
Another one that flooded with spam posts and most are newbies and Jr. members

🚀CyphrCoin(CYFR)-Unique Cryptocurrency That Boasts Digital Medium Of Exchange

A few times I have done it!

Also, someone posted in the thread that's only Bots there a few times!

Example from a Bot !

looks promising and many benefits gained by people from this project. hopefully for a smooth progress and success will be achieved.
I was attracted by the unique appearance and presentation of the project.
I hope this idea will have more exposure to the community and become widely known on the whole international level.
Anyone reading this: the last 6 pages of this thread are all botted auto responses which carry no weight. Purely random and broken English replies without substance.

Short story is that you've basically wasted your money.

Stop trolling Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I've had my eye on this one for a while. This project is solid and will hit the ground running when it's ready.
This project is a necessary tool today. If everything goes well, he has great perspectives for growth and development!
I hope your project will be noticed and appreciated in Hong Кong. I am sure that you will find admirers of Krios and great investors.
team had a great experience in designing a good product that will be in demand on the market. I hope they will have enough sources to make it work.

They quote random posts and what they write normaly has nothing to do with the Quoted post !

Done with this. I am quite somewhat slow with reporting. So please bear with my reporting speed. Should I need to report those accounts which haven't logged in for more than 10 days? Also should I need to report the Proof of Authentication shitposts? I have been mostly reporting the threads with huge Good project spams and users with only Good Project as their posts. Most of them are banned and the threads are being trashed. But is it really needed to report Proof of Authentication spams? It's been already a huge work for the mods and they can't handle tons of reports bumping up daily. Should we really need to overload them along with this Proof of Authentication reports? With theymos announcing the reporter badges, lots of new reporters has emerged from nowhere and overloading mods to wear that useless badge. With such huge number of reports coming up daily, theymos should additionally add at least 2-3 mods for the Alts section alone.

@iasenko/LoyceV would like to hear from you whether what should be reported and what not!

Have I reserved the right ranges or it has been completed by someone? I haven't seen someone taking up after #500

No problem to report accounts that haven't been online for some time, often the accounts are kept for a later use.
Proof of Authentication you can report too, I do for the threads where "join confirmation" is not needed. Don't worry about the mods, that's what they are here for and if they are not enough, I guess there will be no problem for theymos to hire more - like the case with Welsh.

I don't think anyone is working yet on the Ultrix project so you can reserve the accounts. Take your time, no need to hurry Wink

@Lofu, it really matter which moderator is handling the case, I've reported many cases, just a few got handled and on one of them theymos himself banned the OP and removed the ANN as this case was open for a few days without reaction.
Which reminds me that I have to check the other cases again and bump them

You can move your accusation post to the proper thread Mod, please check new plagiarism: Reporting copy/pasting, please permban

There is more exposure of such accusation as the Mods are checking it more often. Here we just list eventual shiposters/spammes/bots for manual review and report.

Well, sorry to say but this is why I didn't join in the hunt for those spambots
I kept on doing reports but I've limited myself to plagiarism and reporting entire topics to be moved from the bitcoin discussion section to the altcoin and trash can section.

If reporting doesn't lead to a ban and just a deleted post...that's one lost battle.

And I too think the mods are overwhelmed by the reports
Usually, in 1-12 hours all the reports where handled and I was already enjoying the moaning about account ban sir help please in meta.

But lately it took even 2 days for one and on my last report for plagiarism, even marked as good, the guy is still not banned. So I've taken a break till things change or theymos reacts on that proposal thread.

Don't want to discourage anybody here from reporting but this is how things stand at the moment

This is true, I takes quite some time to get the ANN threads locked/trashed and sometime they don't do anything with weeks .
I also wait to hear/read the theymos's decision on the case with reporting if any at all.
In the mean time I do search for abusers /ANNs,plagiarism, alts enrolling in same campaigns mostly/, but I'm not so effective as before coz a lot to do IRL.
The club will still run as till now.

I still regret wasting my time on this. My list of homograph spamming Newbie bump bots has 75 more new users in 3 days, and I'd love to get them all nuked, but reporting one by one failed.
I used to create a thread in Meta, make a title like Mods, nuke 120 accounts, and in my last thread Mod BitRentX went at it until he hit his nuke-limit.
