if someone wants to see ico websites he can go to an ico index website, where he can basically check several million different ico token for purchase, there is fundamentally no difference between each of them and bitcoin.

There are like tons of ICOs nowadays,  with no legitimate value at all with some. Most of them are silly ideas just converted into a ICO to trick people off their money. I hope your idea will not be something like that. Good luck.

And that is use case, you haven't mentioned if that token will be use for real transactions and if there will be a purpose of that token.

There is a great chance that you won’t be losing money this way, check out Liven and Ubex. I read their whitepaper and team info. I think these projects have a good chance of gaining in coming days.

There is more money coming into ICO this and many years after. I believe ICO's promote market growth, as there are more different types of businesses using it to raise funds for a new project or an existing one expanding to the widely exploding technology called Blockchain.  Everything is risky.
