Yes and No. BTC also get pumped and dumped . The thing is LTC is the new BTC. Don't you see in the media ?  Some missed the boat with BTC but now there is huge opportunities with other coins // Some say rise and it rise , fall and it fall. Now it's the turn of LTC which is no longer an altcoin .

It should be obvious to both Professional Money Managers and the public that with the
High Bitcoin fees Litecoin will now move in to that spending space. Since Litecoin has a Block every 2.5 minutes versus 10 minutes for Bitcoin all a merchant has to do is require 4 confirmations to be as secure as Bitcoin even though 1 confirmation is good enough for small purchase. If bitcoin is 288 billion market cap then Litecoin should trade Between minimum 10% and 25% max of bitcoin putting Litecoin market cap 28 billion to 72 billion. Thus right now since Litecoin market cap is only 11 billion and 215 price then 28 billion/11 billion = 2.54*215 Litecoin price equals minimum value for Litecoin of 546 to a high of 72 billion/11billion = 6.54 *215 which equals a high valuation (based on Bitcoins current price of 16000) of 1406 for Litecoin.
That's right that is the valuation right now not two weeks from now, so Litecoin is worth 546 to 1406 and it is currently just 219 this second. This is a 1000 coin in my opinion by analyzing the current environment and the high fee problems Bitcoin will be saddled with for many many months it may get worse for them. At best Bitcoin is for storage of wealth and Litecoin is for everything else both storage of wealth and the cost effective movement of money with no borders.

I would be saying the same thing too If I had bought $LTC under $10. I only have a few $LTC, wish I had bought more though.

WELL I'm no mathematician so not 100% sure of your sums/logic, but it does make sense that the 4 x faster coin starts getting some recognition. And now it is - Your valuation of $546 - $1406 (would be awesome if it pans out & hell dash is way up there already) but I would be very happy if its even $500 by New Years Eve

Could be anything, but I think that cause it transfers so quickly and at a low cost people are learning to buy it rather than anything else if they are going to move their crypto from one site to another, I bought ETH, BTC and LTC on one site and learned real quick that LTC was the best option for transfer's, I want quick transactions and low transaction cost's, so lets say I was able to profit with arbitrage - LTC rates high among the top 5 coins capable of moving around and I would be able to make more money with the low transfer fee's .

True the 4 x faster speed has to be a factor, and then add to that the fact that its a lot more solid & stable than many of the smaller coins - so you can depend on it to bank smaller coin gains in and hold the value before those gains drop back down... and of the big coins it has the least "BUBBLE" about it if you ask me (it's still way cheaper than BTC or even ETH, Dash & Monero - but maybe not for much longer...

I do not see the BUBBLE people speak of, Crypto is a hot topic, banks and businesses are running to the crypto scene trying to to figure out how to get in, BTC is on its way to pass the 30,000 dollar value that once seemed a far way off when it was under 500 dollars and it will stay as volatile as it has always been, but transferring it is a pain, I want my money and I don't want to see it "pending", LTC is trusted with a track record and I am willing to bet its forks will do well also, not sure I will need to use LTC for my transfers always but as long as its the quickest I will buy it and use it to buy the satoshi coins I want.
