I think for me is the fail prevention mechanism. so you get a pool to fund the whole process in case bitcoin dropped lower than the set value and the halt if the pool was exhausted.

They will get a lot of praises about that. I don't actually see a sense in using power from power grid for mining purposes or to power up a big farm. The trend this days are renewable energy, green energy.

Securix presale is on. I think they accepted some altcoins like BCH, ETH, XMR plus fiat options of USD and EUR.

they reached softcap in private sell as far as i'am aware!
how ever i don't they have ever shared any data on the fund collection and all that!

Maintaining or generating power is not that easy and taking power off the power grid is a welcome development and a step in the right direction, its really
difficult to sustain the power needed to power up the mining plant, so using a combination of 2 will help a lot, efficiency is also needed as they stated that they will be generating at least 24btc a day which they ought to maintain
