I moved that miner over to diggerpool.com for a little, moving it back now.

I'm honestly surprised that the coin hasn't been delisted off Poloniex yet. At least the good thing about those sudden increases in buy/sells every few days is it keeps the coin on the exchange.

We should be OK for a while. Right now there are 22 other coins on poloniex with less volume than AIRcoin, some with zero volume.

Any news from the devs? Making the rounds to see if there is any life in the older coins that at once had some potential. I reached out to support@teamaircoin.org recently with no luck so I'm assuming they've moved on. No sure though. Thanks

I emailed them twice over the last two weeks and received no response. The devs are either selective on what they reply to or they don't give a damn and never check. What conflicts me is that someone is still maintaining the website. A month ago the website got hacked and the front page was changed. Within a few days it was back up and running. If you have abandoned a coin why bother keeping the website up or even have it at all?

Global hashrate is going up but that is to be expected with scrypt asics becoming cheaper and more readily available. The price per coin seems to stay around 1000 sats and with the coin having as low as 5 mhz global hash someone figured out you can throw a spare asic at to make some profit... or at least accumulate just incase a dev decides to post a smiley face which at this point would cause a price rise.

All of the pre-mine is still where it should be except for the questionable 10k that was moved. I emailed them about it but have not received a response yet. I just wanted to know if that 10k was a bounty or payment to a dev.

Can anyone here help me with a wallet issue? I had a power outage, after recovery my AirCoin wallet that was open now has an incorrect balance. I re-downloaded the block chain and it did nothing to solve the problem. Can anyone tell me what I might do to fix this wallet?
Thanks

--EDIT never mind I dumpprivkey from the bad wallet and importprivkey to another wallet seemed to solve the problem. Although I don't know what happened and I don't know if there is a faster way to fix than the one address at a time that I did?

Coin is up to be delisted off Poloniex. I'm not surprised with the low trade volume and the fact the dev hasn't been on in well over a month. Time to move on I guess.

If the Dev still exist they could pitch to Poloniex why they should remain and present their future plans. My guess is they will remain silent because they don't exist anymore, essentially on Aug 4th the coin is dead.

I don't know what the health of the blockchain is like at the moment but if it is working you could mine some or buy it from someone who is looking to sell.
