I think it's difficult for Cryptocurrency to stand without Bitcoin. Because bitcoin is the first coin with blockchain technology. and until now bitcoin has a big impact with altcoins. all altcoins follow bitcoin price movements.

No crypto currency will stand without bitcoin because bitcoin was the mother of all crypto currency she gave birth to all the altcoin we sees today. However, all the altcoin we see today are just a photocopy of bitcoin because what they did is follow the protocol led by Satoshi and insert the name of the coin they wanted to create.

In my own opinion without bitcoin, crytocurrency is nothing. Maybe it will continue to operate but its not going too far. As we see bitcoin have the highest value in the market has the millions of investors and users around the globe, and that is the reason why bitcoin is called king of cryptocurrency.

No and will not ever happen. Bitcoin is its mother and it's like all the altcoins are connected to its roots. So if the tree dies which is bitcoin then all the other things that depends on it will not able to survive. They say bitcoin is still on its infancy so I guess altcoins are still fetus.

Altcoin is independent, meaning it does not depend on bitcoin. Because in cryptocurrency there are thousands of crypto currencies, only the most famous is bitcoin because bitcoin is the first, the price is very expensive and most famous. Even many people don't know crypto but know bitcoin. So, without bitcoin cryptocurrency can still exist because they are independent not related to bitcoin. Because their use and purpose are also different.

I think that bitcoin is no longer the leader of crypto currencies that have a big influence. This crypto currency can stand without bitcoin.
