Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin?

People need bitcoin as a brand.All the people who entered this market originally bought bitcoin.And only then learned about other cryptocurrencies and ICO.Bitcoin will be like digital gold and will not go anywhere.

I think this is difficult in the beginning but the next will be normal, as we know that the influence of the two biggest coins, bitcoin and ETH, is so strong that without these 2 coins altcoins are difficult to stand up, but without bitcoin in a short time it will be shocked.

Technically speaking, it will be so much difficult for other altcoins to survive right now without Bitcoin because it holds the greatest market capitalization in the market. In terms of enhanced technology, well i guess there are some major altcoins which become more promising such as ethereum, neo, ripple, stellar and many others. Of course BTC as the pioneer and "father of cryptocurrency" become the basis of all other altcoins. Therefore in my own opinion, i guess it is not yet realizable for other crypto to survive without Bitcoin unless the market cap of other altcoins next to BTC surpass its current cap which is way too big as of now.

So cryptocurrencies now really depends on the exchange websites or market exchange. Then most of the value or money exchange use to continue run the system are with the help of bitcoib since it is the number one of all time and almost everyone have bitcoin so i think crypto can't stand without bitcoin.

I don't think it is possible because in my opinion all the countries that I have heard about thinking to concern bitcoin as a currency they would speak about bitcoin only and at the first place.

Digital currency can't remain without bitcoin on the grounds that bitcoin is the number coin in the market and is the heart beat of all other altcoin on the grounds that it decides the estimation of all other coin.

Cryptocurrency can Stand Without Bitcoin because there are a whole of blockchain system behind which are very promising in practical use in the future, however, as bitcoin own the largest portion of users in this market, so no longer bitcoin makes it a hard time to stabilize

I would think if Bitcoin disappeared Ethereum would take it's place and we would be right back where we are now.  The #1 coin vacuum would be filled by the #2 coin.

For me no because cryptocurrency had been famous because of bitcoin. Actually when you said cryptocurrency to people they first think about bitcoin because it is the only cryptocurrency that known by many.

Not sure cryptocurrency can exist without Bitcoin. Bitcoin is considered as the monument of the cryptocurrency market. I think without Bitcoin, cryptocurrency can't go long.
