if you were investing in an ICO then you might have a huge chance that your investment might go for nothing, you can invest to a coin that is already existed in the market so that you can have the assurance that your investment has still a value.
I think there are many types of investments that have different levels of risk and that determines the amount of profit you might get. if you invest in altcoins that are already well known as in the top of marketcap of course the risk will not be too large because there is no risk of scam. but the possibility of big profits might be much greater at ICO. seeing their prices could rise thousands of percent after listed in exchange

research the site first if it is legit, don't join the hyip site that they promise to double your bitcoin in just a short time, and if you want to buy bitcoin in exchange make sure you buy in trusted exchanges like binance or coinbase. Many scammers and hackers nowadays so be aware.

In order for you not to be scammed when investing in bitcoin, you need to research about certain sites so you will know if it is not one of the bitcoin scammers. It's not easy to invest bitcoin without being scammed especially if you are first timer. I've been scammed twice already in some sites. So please before you invest, try to check the reviews if they are reliable or not.

Mostly beginners and fall for such scams. When you want all at once. You need to be able to wait. Unfortunately, scammers develop with us and therefore it is difficult to stop them. In terms of investment. Here we need to be extremely careful . be sure to read all terms and conditions carefully.

If you are a newbie in bitcoin investing or trading, avoid any unknown site that that give possible phising links. The link of many legitimate crypto and exchange sites are being copied by scammers and send it thru social media sites, emails and in the forum. Scammers are everywhere so don't try to open any unknown or dubious links that is suspected of phising sites.

It is very easy to invest in bitcoin without being scammed all you have to do are make sure your computer is safe to us that it doesn't have virus. Next, don't save your private keys online all you have to do is memorize it or write it on a paper. Last, get advice from seniors or well knowledge about how bitcoin works.

You have to take responsibility for your own security and take special precautions to stay safe.  For instance type in the url and triple check it.  Then save it to your bookmarks so you never make that mistake.  Have a separate computer to make your transactions and do not do any other web surfing from that computer.  Mostly simple stuff that is just inconvenient (but necessary)

So very true on all accounts - inconvenient but being scammed is worse than anything that inconvenience sets you back

if anybody uses a little brain and do the proper homework before investing, chances of getting scammed narrows a lot.

Well, here in the first place you do not need to try to do everything yourself or alone.Definitely need a partner with whom you will act and work together.I didn't notice one, notice the other. All you need many times to read,to count and double-check.Consult with experts and learn all the details.Use the services of only verified exchanges and companies with good reviews.Their is also a must read.As about themselves all good things to say

How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? There are people using very fine techniques like selling bitcoin cash in name of bitcoins using confusing websites name. How to be safe from such scams ?

Then verify it first check the website feedback, check the site that you want to exchange if they had a thread here and ask for feedback from those people who have used their service, due diligence is always the key if you are exchanging big funds, since we are in a decentralized environment you should double your security.

Some very practical suggestions. I am using my smartphone only for crypto transactions (through apps for local exchanges ). I have also split the holdings in different exchanges to be safe. However, I completely agree with you regarding the use of another computer for these transactions especially if you are investing a large amount.

I'm doing the same thing. I have a separated gadget that is for crypto transactions only, no other unknown sites or webpage. I've been doing that for years and I never had any problem or issues like being scammed or hacked. People should invest in security first before anything else, it will save you almost a lifetime if you do.

I suggest that you buy your bitcoin from one of the reputable exchanges we have a around. Identifying a scam investment program can be very difficult but try as much as possible to avoid HYIP. You can just hold your bitcoin in your wallet.

you should always be careful, fraudsters in most cases deceive people who are either not careful or do not understand this topic, need to store all official links to sites, put complex passwords

very easy. we can buy some bitcoin on the crypto market. and we invest in the long term. do not be easily influenced by negative issues that make panic and do not be easily affected by price fluctuations in the trade market. because the price of crypto is very easy to manipulate or be manipulated by anyone. and most of all we must know all the risks if we play investment in the crypto world.

when in terms of buying bitcoin you must prefer to buy on those legit exchange market sites in order thats you could not become a victim of fraud or phishing,so therefore dont trust those people who offer to sell you a bitcoin or some phishing site's convince you to put on some capital on there site's because its already a scam and one example of this scam site are the ethtrade trading site's and im the one who become a victim of those fake ethtrade.

I think the easiest and only solution to this problem is to use only verified exchanges and not buy bitcoin anywhere else. I have been doing crypto-currency for several years and bought coins just like that, and never got on scammers.
