I think it's dead. Until we see presence anywhere, we should assume it's dead.
No update on the wallet either.

Hello guys,

No Photon is not a dead coin. It was never a dead coin because bleudragon and cinnamon working with it with new plans for the future.

This the main group. https://t.me/photon19

PHOTON Antonio, [05.01.18 09:15]

Hello everybody,
First I want to say thank you Bluedragon and Cinnamon that you have created coins like this.
We will always acknowledge and remember you for your work and time and knowledge for making Photon.

GOOD NEWS:
The original dev, Bluedragon is saying he's OK with us and we are hoping to maybe even on-board him to work with us! We will update you soon with good news.

Read our conversation:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=478136.560

Guys please say hello to Bluedragon and say thanks he make this possible:
https://twitter.com/BlakeCoin/status/948519080763457537

The last week of 2017 was amazing for Photon. Photon was before 25 December a coin with almost no activity.
Juan an I have a lot of belief in this coin so we were trying to start a dialogue with cinnamon, so we can help them to make photon a coin with status.

Cinnamon tweeted us back that she is too shy to join us. She also tweeted that this is an open source project and everyone can work with it if they don't violate the MIT licence
So we, Juan and I, where starting to make plans to make photon a coin that a lot of people will know about.
It is a wonderful coin how they build it. Because the code they used, they have made it possible to merge-mine. You can mine more coins at the same time!

Usecase (Quick Overview):
Bluedragon developed the coin a few years back primarily for use in Gaming - it is mined using a unique technology as it is merge mined with 5 other coins simultaneously - https://blakecoin.org/merged-mining/

Also check out https://www.blakezone.com/overview/

A more in-depth Usecase will be presented in the Roadmap which is currently in development.

Please read more about the photon at: https://github.com/photonproject/photon https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=478136.0

Wallet Info:
You can download the Windows wallet here (it will take a few hours to sync): https://github.com/photonproject/photon/releases
- other wallets are on development roadmap

Recent Updates:
This weeks airdrop was a success.
We will have a new airdrop on 31 January 2018!
We will be very happy if there are people that want to donate photons for the airdrop.
Join our telegram group  https://t.me/photon19

It is very important for Photon and all the other blake256 coins that you all start mining blake256 coins. When mining you will get 6 coins at once.

Now your daily profit from mining maybe low ( higher then the most other coins) but hold and you will have a lot of profit with mining photons and other blake256 coins.

You can start mining at http://la1.blakecoin.com/ You can start mining with your pc.

More info : https://blakecoin.org/merged-mining/

The files and some tips are here thanks to Ettin (read Instructions.txt file): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1TwLFki4BOTLUBBmuGVDFKs4qVlY-Vv7W

PLEASE do not stop mining blake256 coins.
It is also good for the blake256 coins but also the BlakeCommunity will be happy with us. We can show them that we are loyal to the blake256 coins. Mining is good for us all.

Progress to date:
- We have because of our great community an awesome Management Team. We do this because it is our hobby.
- We are working hard to complete tasks we have. Website, wallets, new exchanges, whitepaper, roadmap etc.
- This month we will make contact with more exchanges to list us. Also we will finish our website www.photoncc.com.
- We will have a wallet and we do our best to finish the roadmap.
- Today ( 02-01-2018) we have been listing pho/btc on c-patex.com.
- These next day we will make contact with other exchanges so there will follow more.

PHOTON Antonio, [05.01.18 09:15]
Please note that originally:
- Cinnamon told us in a tweet that this is an open source project. But Bluedragon feared we are here to scam the whole thing and the diff is rising because of the rising amount of miners right now. Bluedragon thinks people will stop with mining and then the diff remains high.
We are not stopping with mining so the community needs to keep the mining up also.
The trust is low and I understand because a lot of people in this cryptocurrency world are scammers.
We are going to prove them that we are
legit. That is one of the reasons I ask you to start mining blake256 coins and not to stop with mining.
It is good for us all.

Our goal is to make 1 photon one dollar. One dollar is very high but we do that because we can keep going on until we reach it. You all can be happy if we reach 1 cent but we from the management team of Photon are only happy with minimal 1 dollar because that is our goal.

If you have ideas for our team you can put it also in this spreadsheet. Please use it with respect

No update on the wallet either.

Photon is maintained the newer core code base has not been stabilized and AuxPoW does not function well hence why until its been stabilized and functions well for merge mining we will stick with old trusty 0.8.x core code as it works well and no issues with AuxPow!!!

Photon was built and tested by @Cinnamon_Carter with vital input from BlueDragon747 creator of BlakeCoin and the 'Father' of this project !

and if you want activity of one of the devs see my profile  Cheesy

the difference is in network difficulty more miners = less each *also depends on luck and what the pools findings are

the act of mining is random its not predetermined and actual time can be way off mostly its an average estimate

currently the diff is way high and estimates off also quite a few of the blocks have been been found by zpool ~24hrs *would be best if it was little bit more balanced in pool hashrate

Also note New minted coins take 120 blocks(ELT is 480) to mature before they can be sent which with slow block generation could be much longer than normal 8 hrs

my pools are standard pplns and its mostly all automated and all payouts are based on what the pool finds and luck does have an effect!!

This is it. Photon is off limit. Dev, should enable BTC trading on Cryptopia to bolster this move. Fasten your seat belt everybody to the moon.

Where can I find Photon wallet?

Story of my life.  I got in a week too late.  I spent all my time mining verge and just two days ago switched to pho and now it's gone up almost 200%.  I guess I should be happy with the 300k I mined, but I was hoping to get 10mill before I switched off to stockpile Linda.

With zpool pumping the profitability and having 2.8Th/s does that pretty much kill your merged pool from getting any blocks?

no as I dont think zpool is running a full merge so always something getting a block  Cheesy

share diff found above coin network diff > will solve if the wallet and work is upto date e.g has longest chain and has sent that to miner

Realistically what's the target price for this coin?  I'd love to see it moon like anyone else but right now its market cap is $3.7m at .000177/usd so it would have a market cap of 3.7b at .177/usd.  As you add new features like the website and get more active on social media it will jump for sure and allow you to trade on other exchanges but the huge supply is going to keep the price/pho pretty small on this one.

Lets try to aim for 30m -100m for this month.

But it depend on there active work on the website and maybe a whitepaper.

Currently sitting at $17.35m less than 24 hours later.
We need that website and someone pushing to get us on more exchanges.

even more amazing considering the one and only exchange it's listed on is currently suspended effectively giving this coin a current transactional value of exactly 0 litoshis.  I agree with the earlier post that this coin needs to be listed on more exchanges if it's to have any real chance long-term.  Perhaps somebody could get something setup on bisq at the very least and any other decentralized exchanges (hint hint, whales) so the whole network isn't essentially worthless when the 1 and only exchange decides to suspend trading

Land bittrex and binance and you will definitely have some potential
