I think it can be a consideration to diversify your investment into fiat investment, for me crypto investment is the greatest, if we see it from the history chart, no fiat investment can rise as fast as crypto, the risk of crypto investment is big but the reward also big, so it's depend on how people want to play with their investment, if they want to play safe then go to fiat investment and diversify it into real estate, raw material or precious metal, but if the people dare to take risk then go for crypto, for now the crypto market is still booming so many of them are interested to invest in crypto, and beside of the value, crypto also got anonymity and decentralised feature, so you don't need to pay any tax

It is just your opinion because you look from your own point of view which is based on your understanding of trading and your strategy. As you know there are plenty of various approaches on trading and a diversification is not an excellent decision in all occasions (for example, an arbitrage strategy). Moreover there are various types of traders where some of them are conservative and they use a diversification but others are quite risky and they do not use a diversification not tot decrease their expectation in case of a successful outcome but, of course, it is a risky strategy where it is possible to lose much

I am talking to quite a few people who are investing in crypto and notice that very few have a broader investment spectrum. People either focus on ICOs, some small caps, others play it safe and stick with the high caps or established projects.

But hold on, is the later really playing save? In my view, even with high caps you will still be massively exposed as you have all of your eggs in one basket. Namely in the same market. Different eggs in size and colour but all eggs. If the basket falls, your eggs still get crushed.

As mentioned before, I am trading stocks for over a decade and crypto since last year. I also agree that is easier to trade stocks, simply because the volume is so high that a few whales or big investors cannot influence the market as easily by dumping their shares. The stock market is also much more regulated, if someone is being caught doing washtrading or spoofing the consequences are dramatic. In the crypto world manipulation is something that poses a constant threat. Just look at the market now, the recent dip is not tight to any event, news or even fud. 25 billion just disappeared and people are wondering wht‘s going on.

Long story short, it‘s great you have a diversification plan but also think about moving assets from crypto to fiat, stocks or raw materials and precious metals.

As i also invest not only in crypto, due to my lack of knowledge in stocks and forex market i don't go there.
But i use other sources of income like investment companies which pay you weekly/monthly income, partnership programs and so on.
I do admit that most of such called "investment companies" are usually pyramid schemes and they don't last that long, but as long as you able to select and enter proper companies at their very start, you be able to make a good profit to live from it.
What i also plan to do is enter forex market to make trades by the signals of my friend, who is already making money there over past 9 years, but first i need to accumulate at least 20k $ to be able to perform good trades with market shoulder.
So yes, diversification is the best thing, no matter how much you can earn with bitcoin or any other alt, always diversify.

As some others have already said, everyone should diversify their portfolio, but sometimes people think that trading cryptos is a quick rich scheme...
This was maybe true in 2017, this year it is a bit more difficult to really gain profit.
I would only invest money in cryptos that you are willing to loose.

The market is volatile so obviously, you will not earn profit immediately and you may lose money as well but the best thing to do is just hold your coin until the market prices pumps up.

I invest in Crypto because I started my investments with it and the returns crypto gives is no match to the returns that stock provide us.
The time span is short in crypto for bigger returns but it takes a while for stocks to give out such returns. The volatility in crypto is much bigger than the stock. These are the reasons why many including me prefer to invest in crypto rather than in the stock market.

I do not see anything wrong with investing in cryptocurrencies even if your capital is small, it was not that long ago that bitcoin was worth only a few hundred dollars, so the only thing we need to remember is to invest what we can afford in the market, investing more than that will mean trouble for us in the short or the long term and there are several examples of that in the forum, besides the size of your capital is not an indication of your level of skill, you could be a genius when it comes to determining which ico is going to be successful in the future even if your capital is small or you could have a lot of money and be terrible at choosing the right ico.
