What is your opinion on the current market situation?  2018 has not been our year. It's been quite rough for cryptocurrency prices, with the most recent slump being from June 10, the market continues to fluctuate and change. But things seem to be looking up and bitcoin has reached its peak this summer, topping $8,000.

People are still uncertain and not confident in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies so the market is still unstable and weak but I think that we need some time to recover. It will happen and we will prosper the early adopters.

Its really a bad year if you had invested your money when bitcoin price was fluctuating but if you are really into crypto currency these down days are the best days, we call it the opportunity days where the best time to buy and invest some, in cryptomarket there are lots of different coins which you can invest some, btc is not the only crypto currency, there are also lots of coins worth investing some. So todays crypto currencies situation is the best day to invest/buy, just buy at your own risk.

What I remembered is it was able to reach $9,900 and that was close to $10,000 early these quarters. Manipulation seem to be the current talk about this dip. However, still a great year for those that ever think they are too late to enter.

indeed this year is bad enough for all of us in the crypto world, because the crypto market is very long in bad condition, hopefully bitcoin will rise faster and more stable, so the crypto market can recover faster and better than now.

I wouldn't say that it is a bad year until we see until December on how will the market fluctuate by that time.

Hopes are being trusted to the last quarter of the year and mostly at the very end of this year's month, December.

Today price of bitcoin dropped again to $6,700. We hope that this is the final bottom that bitcoin is finally looking for. Don't start to panic everyone, put your hopes for the delayed ETF approval until September.

And if isn't so good, we still have December where people's money has been full in pockets flowing in.

Exactly the current situation almost going deeper the value in the market. Yet, many of us are hoping that crypto price will going to be up hoping this month. Once good news out their is a signs of moving up the value.

Nothing remarkable is happening right now, we are still suffering the consequences of the previous crash and nothing more, we will need several good news in a row for the market to react and to begin to grow up, but I am not worried since a recovery of the market is inevitable.

for me it is still better than in past, don't just see from 1 side, but both side of situation. at past bitcoin is less than $1000 , and for now it still make an good thing if compared than past year.

Price went down again due to the news of delayed ETF that would be announce again next month. As for your judgment of being not our year. It's too early to judge OP as we are still on the 8th month and many things are still unfolding. Who knows what bitcoin will do again this year. Many are surprise about the shoot up last year when bitcoin made thousands of dollar gains in just a few days. You just have to continue taking advantage of the fluctuations and accumulate more coins.

don't be pessimistic bro, hope still exists and 2018 isn't over yet. many experts predict that by the end of 2018 bitcoin will repeat its cycle as late as 2017, although maybe not all experts are right about bitcoin predictions. many factors will affect the price of bitcoin at the end of 2018, and hopefully we hope that these factors will affect the significant increase in the price of bitcoin.

When i saw the crazy pump on the december i know that the bubble will pop sooner or later and the crash really happened in January. It's too soon to judge OP as we are still on the eighth month and numerous things are as yet unfurling. Who recognizes what bitcoin will do again this year. Many are astonish about the shoot up a year ago when bitcoin made a large number of dollar picks up in only a couple of days. You simply need to keep exploiting the changes and gather more coins.
