Really 2018 is very rough and tough for cryptocurrencies. We hope that ETF will be approved by mid August but as what I am seeing in SEC rejection reasons are abscent of custodial solutions for Institutional solutions and regulations stopping the ETF approval. I think the first ETF will be approved by the first quarter of 2019. |

As we can see today as long as the price remain at 8k+ there are still hope for some changes of price, because we can see that there are many people that still interested on bitcoin. and in this coming months we hope to see some real changes.

It was expected that this year will be such as it is. One of the worst years. I have big expectations for the end of the year, or the beginning of 2019.

Recent price increase of bitcoin is a result of the excitement in the market after a series of positive news. Last week, BlackRock news agency was setting up a research group on digital and blockchain technology. Although CEO of the fund later said that BlackRock does not mean investing in money, this is still a signal that money attracted the attention of institutional investors.

Nope, it's not $8,000. Currently it's now $7,300 and this is below the support that others are saying which is $7,500. because we can see that there are many people that still interested on bitcoin. and in this coming months we hope to see some real changes.
We don't need real changes, what we need is more adoption, more demand and more good news. |

As what i have seen in the past months in this year 2018 mate, yes prices are all red and dump compare to other coon but i still believe that it will be back to its higher pick at the end for this year. And if this things will happen, all of us for sure will be glady happy.

In my vote this year is a grudging year for all of us current cryptocurrency market situation is almost worsened.all says that in modern times the crypto market is so worsened.but it will peppy hopefully of old year end.

I think the current Cryptocurrency market is very bad, it's constantly decreasing and as you know, every day in the myetherwallet wallet I see red, which makes me not like the market at all. Bitcoin reached over $ 8k in June but is now down just over $ 7k. I think the Cryptocurrency market is being manipulated by sharks. I still hope that in the next few months the Cryptocurrency will return to green and the bitcoin will hit $ 10k.

The crypto currency situation has not favorable at all because of the changing of price becomes worse and very low.Many investor are in panic they realized that they didn't back the invest money in the same price that they invest it and other take advantage on the low price they buy btc because they predict that bitcoin price will rise up again in the following 5 months |

Yet all the bad news relating to ETFs and Tether being looked at as a fraud is coming back and likely one of the negative factors that is driving down or at least capping the price movement. |

No one can really predict the price of bitcoin, in the same token that no one can predict the future, and to consider also the fact that cryptocurrencies like bitcoin are viable commodities. The effect of the delay of the ETF verdict hit the market badly. Almost everybody is selling off and converting into tether mode to cut their losses. But the fall of the market now is so steep to recover from. If you'll sell your digital assets off now, the damage would be too devastating. So I think, we better hold and wait for the right time to reclaim the losses. Let's just hope and pray that the result of the ETF will be a good booster for uptrend.

The decline in the price of Bitcoin and other crypto currencies in 2018 certainly makes me a little worried but by seeing the market now declining there must be a good side where there is a chance to buy bitcoin and can keep it until the end of the year.

As the lightning network grows and continues to evolve we will see widespread use of it, this brings Bitcoin back to being the king of currency and storage of value by using a dual system. Lightning for payments, regular transactions and payments

Current bitcoin market looks stuck, even though it goes up for a moment then comes back down again and again. Not sure if people lost trust on bitcoin or day trader making little profit and being happy with it. Bitcoin need a bullrun soon.

i see a lot of good news coming for cryptocurrencies, the etf rejection was just a small negative impact for bitcoin compared to the fud before when china block trading site etc. but so far the trend + the positive news is doing good, this is not short term, this long term, were talking about 3 years or so from now on.

Its evident that there are still some uncertainties in the market and this I causing a big up and down and this has not made huge investor to bring in big funds into the market and the existing investor are scared of uncertainties and losing their investment so several dips has resulted from this. We hope this stops and the bull run resumes.
Well this is investment after all. You can't be 100% sure if the BTC will ever rise as much as expected or that it will become stable sooner or later. In my opinion there's no reason to panic about it. We knew it's a risk and we took it. Most of us are still doing it for fun as well as for the money. |

I couldn't disagree with this. An abundance of experts are having the highest hopes for the year 2020-2022 but according to a new analysis of cryptocurrency mining economics, BTC price could reach $64,000 in 2019. |

The market is really not stable as at now but i believe things are going to be restored once the bull run of bitcoin hits the road and i am sure most enthusiasts in here are patiently waiting for that.

I think this year is a rough year for all of us in cryptocurrency the current market situation is nearly bad. The bitcoin value is not yet fall too far it will recovered soon hopefully before year end and i think it will reach10 percent from its current price It is better to make a long term hold.
It is bad but I think it could be a whole lot worse. but the bull market is right around the corner, and usually the price goes up at the end of the year, so we have that to look forward to. |
