The cannacoin paperwallet service has been updated, thanks to Turulo for pointing that out. It is encouraged that if you have an old paper wallet that you generate a new pub/priv key for it to correctly import/export and send/receive payments. 

Also, I have also added http://ccn.youngwebsolutions.com to the list of available pools. Much thanks to our mining community support!

As soon this was posted we had a minor issue which required a reboot, This reboot failed somehow, and we overlooked this for 30 minutes. Our apologies for the downtime, All is back to normal now!

Please note betarigs is a legitmate business where you can hire hashing power (i use it myself as well!!)
In theory you could hire so much hashpower you can bring down a pool, but this is very costly.. So I'm not 100% sure if this is the real DDOS'r

yes, i've used www.betarigs.com before as well.

I don't believe it's them, however, it could very well be a collective effort of people using rented rigs for this purpose....

I'd like to know how the conclusion was reached that these attacks came from people using their services.

Due to an exposed exploit in the Kimoto Gravity Well, all users will be required to update your client wallet(mac, windows, linux) and Cannacoind servers within the next 48 hours in order to be in line with the new hardfork at block 16000.

Mac Windows and Linux clients are currently being worked on and will be released ASAP. Will do, I've already informed all of the pool operators (Talesfromthescrypt, Youngwebsolutions, Cryptovein etc) via PM/IRC of the urgent request to update.  I've also confirmed that Youngwebsolutions is currently working to update the cannacoind server and I will follow confirm when any changes are made to pools.
