Announcement: Cannacart demo is now live!

I am happy to announce that after extensive testing the new "Cannacart" is ready for live demo & merchants adoption!

With this new tool, we are finally opening the doors for merchants to accept and build web stores that can accept CCN payments at checkout! This is huge news for Cannacoin as we can now start to market and push these solutions to local dispensaries and other retail outlets (real world/online) that want to accept either Cannacoin OR Bitcoin. I am looking forward to building more of these tools and incorporating plugins for services like Wordpress, Joomla and have had a blast learning and creating this solution for CCN! Hi all! I did some more research on your coin last night and love the work you're doing. I first became aware of Cannacoin as a result of the Bittrex trading guide you produced which I shared with our SolarCoin investors. Thank you! Anyhoo... I decided to get some CannaCoin last night. This is only the second altcoin I have decided to invest in. As a board member of the SolarCoin Foundation, my time is dedicated to that effort primarily but I just wanted to share with you that you have another person supporting your coin.

It's very nice to see some action over here I'll tell ya.  So what are some of the real world uses of this coin at this time?  I've been watching CCN it a while and I like what I've learned so far but I'm not sure I fully grasp what the coins is and will be used for.  I do see a very good potential for this coin and believe it has a good community with much potential for growth.

I see a few coins in similar to this and I can't help but feel my coins would be worth investing on CCN.  Please keep up the great work as I look forward to seeing this coin progress as time passes.

This coins is doing very well, and looks every week more promising. I have upgraded my hardware to face new miners in the future. You will see a note when you are on the new server. The IP is changed due to getting a new dedicated, DDOS server.

If you have a slow DNS server of your ISP, use google DNS or openDNS. (or what a few minutes)
Your miners should auto-connect as soon as DNS is updated with new IP

Today we've launched our new Cannacoin developer API which features network/coin data as well as market data from both Bittrex.com and Swisscex.com. Need a quick arbitrage calculator? Want to build a ticker? Need to create a cannastats or bot of your own? Now you can! Below is a list of available data points you can use in your own applications and tools! In the future we are looking to incorperate a full authentication system with API keys and more scope definitions. Over time you will see minor changes to the API but we plan to have everything documented and hosted on the official site soon.

Thanks for your thoughtful words.  We are working hard to cover as many aspects as possible.  I and others (BIGGY_TREEZ, rbico, wizardpie, Peezor, and others) have taken initiative to get some of these side projects done such as the Cannacoin/Bittrex guide and these NWGT logos so we have custom gear (t-shirts/stickers) for the Cannacoin store. 

We also participate regularly on the reddit and NWGT forums as well as on #cannacoin IRC @ Freenode.

Ya, well, this isn't your typical community.  NWGT had 200+ attendees at their BBQ last year in Washington state and this year we are making a special push to grow NWGT alongside Cannacoin/Bitcoin.

It's really fun and special to work with medical cannabis patients and develop a viable payment platform for people outside of credit cards and cash.

What our very own Cannacoin dev (Peezor aka Subcreative) is building is awesome and we are networking throughout the industry with serious people who want to be a part of the future of these types of payments.  Cannacoin just like Bitcoin is ultimately an experiment that so far has been very successful so we are hyped to continue to develop this platform and integrate through the APIs into many applications.
