I think ICO rating is not measuring tool or indication for a good  ICO's in a blockchain as of this time because many have come to a point that the one you trusted is scam ICO due to many people will easily trust without any further research. Make your own research to prove that rating is correct.

I personally trust! but still I always study information about the project myself! many serious rating organizations are not bribable, they value their reputation! on this they very well analyze the project!

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

Some of them are very fake. Just do your own findings.

Now that there might be some illegal stuffs being mentioned that might happen on ICO Rating sites, it is more easy to review it personally. It is still possible that they are paying more than the earnings that they may have earned just to receive high ICO ratings even though their platforms are not that good. We at least need to do our parts to research on the things that we still do not know.

Hi mate! There are so many factors to know before investing in an ICO. For me the my first concern is the team behind that certain project. Then what is the project all about(platform). The whitepaper of the project. Then the roadmap. And a lot more. ICO ratings can be manipulate or influence by an outside party. Bottomline? I don't trust ICO ratings. Cheers!

ico rating cannot be used as a benchmark to find out how good ico is, because there are many rules and manipulations in it to do business so that it is mutually beneficial.

Yes the ratings may act as guidelines but don't invest on it because of these ratings.I saw that they are some people offering ICO ratings as well in the service section which means it also can be bought they if a scammer want to scam money then he will spend money to buy ratings to attract more investor as well.

Lots of ICO's in the today are scams.they are only collect some ETH and then hide for forever..so be carefull if you want to invest an ICO..

Fixed rating developed by ICO, if the rating is low, do many people join? compare with a pretty good rating, you will be more confident.

ICO price web site offers me a reference base to make investment decisions in the cryptographic market. But I never fully trust them. I believe in the knowledge, experience, ability to analyze my projects more.

You can take it as reference and at least you know where you are going when looking at ICO rating sites. Yet, somehow even though they have good rating it doesn't mean they are good or even becomes successful when the ICO is finished later. So, take a note on that when you are looking on that sites.
