Rating is one part of ICO but a lot of other factors are to be checked before taking any decision to invest in an ICO because you know that everything can be manipulated by money power. Never believe in these things and always do your own research as that will give you much better information.

In most cases I don't because I've heard that high rating can be bought. I try to explore the team, social media and telegram chat I trust this three things more than rating sites

no, because I see a lot of ico with good ratings but their sales are very bad and I think ico's success is not from the ratings it gets but from the products, concepts and offers given

I don't trust them personally but I don't have any option since every one now go with them and I know some of this rating sites do receive payment from new project to rate them high. I think investing in a project is still a 50/50 risk no matter the ratings from ico sites

I don't trust them from day one and this is because I believe they just rate for rating sake at times and not because they are 100% sure of a project real intentions

Of course, I always make the ICO rating a reference for investment, but I never believed that if I only got it on one site, it needed at least 3 rating sites so that made me sure that the project was promising.

No, I don't trust ICO Rating sites, I think the ratings above are not true, as long as any project gives them money, they can give you a decent score.I prefer to believe my judgment.

I do not trust rating sites completely, but I think that it is necessary to take into account the opinions of experts and I pay attention to the some ratings. As a rule, they are not often mistaken.

ICO branch sites cannot guarantee that the ICO will run well and successfully. I prefer to read whitepapers from each ICO that I will invest before participating in them. there are many things in their whitepaper. how the project works, the formation of the project, the direction of the project objectives is clear or not, and the team involved in it and more. there we can assess whether the ICO is able to develop and run well.

I used to believe in website reviewing and evaluating ICOs. I find this stupid after I invested in some of the projects that highly valued on these websites. I advise you not to stupidly believe in the same site rating because you only need to spend a certain amount of money then you will get a perfect review on it.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.
With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
I don't confide in ICO Rating sites in particular, yet now and then I focus on these ratings, particularly those that are distributed on the biggest and most solid sites. In the event that the rating is low, it implies, that the project isn't great, and it is better not to take an interest in it

from my experience, indeed I am very interested and believe in ico reviews sites like that, but it turns out that even though the ico in the review gets the highest rating, it's still not successful, so the point is don't be too trusting with ico site reviews, because they are reviews paid site

I saw a user here in BCT selling ratings for icobench in broad daylight.. To think that i used to check sites like icobench and icorating for guidance.. Anyway, have you guys checked out menlo one's whitepaper? https://www.menlo.one/#whitepapers ...Just recently viewed it and I think this project is the answer to ICO scams and fake review sites...

There are so many review websites that have come up and I don't really trust them all, but there are definitely some good review websites all there who do a thorough check before putting a review of each ICO. The name of that website is icobench and I feel it is the best amongst all the review websites. Also, listing of a coin on coinmarketcap doubles the credibility.

I only follow certain ico rating sites. But I do not fully trust those even this sites. I am investigating the team of a high-rated projects. I read the comments about the project in bitcointalk. And I'm reading whitepapers. After doing that's, if i like the project, i joining ico

when I got to know bitcoin, I still believed the ico rating site because I still didn't know what it was and I studied it more closely oh it turned out that the cause and other site sites were also affected.

I neither believe ICO rating sites. I'm also aware of the fact that they are paid shills. But I consider their KYC reports of the ICO members. The team's transparency is a huge factor I look into when participating in bounty projects. I need to be assured that the team is comprised of real people who aren't afraid to unmask their identities in public. Even these ICOs do want to know the identity of the bounty hunters by requiring us to do and pass the KYC procedure, then why on the first place we wouldn't care to know also about the "bosses" we're working for? Neither them nor us want to get scammed anyway. Other than these KYC reports of ICO rating sites, I do not believe the rest of what they say about an ICO anymore. I do my own research instead.

Sometimes i choose a campaign with high ICO trust rating but still there are campaigns that having high trust rating that scammed to its participants and it's really difficult for now to find a better campaign that is legitimate and pays the effort of bounty hunters.
