They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

Absolutely not you can't trust their ratings if they are paid to do so it's actually quite misleading that you get bad projects with a 5/5 rating and a good one with a 2.5/5 just because they didn't pay so i don't think you should factor them in your analysis as they are very biased altough they're exist some good ico reviews websites that can help such as https://cryptobriefing.com/ico-reviews/ where there is never a paid or sponsored review  Grin
you can use such ico ratings for looking for a good cryltocurrency or p4ojexts but you need to check a few of them? not only one

Yes but it doesnt mean that I wouldn't check it by myself. In this field, it is better to believe to yourself than to others. We all knew that there are many people trying to catch your attention for scam purposes.

Yes, today I continue to believe in some ratings and sites. But you need to remember that they can give only basic information for starting an investment. You need to study the selected project yourself.

There are various ICO rating sites that could be trusted in making a rating to the project, this will help the investors to determine when the project are all worth it in making a decision such as investing.

I was convinced for a long time that the big rating on sites is not an indicator of that the project is really good. You need to learn how to analyze projects yourself.

I just don't rely only on ratings on any rating site. Because those ratings are not 100% true. So what I do is, I take a look at the project, similar projects and look at the progress of the token sale. If everything look good, then I start investing on it.

Some ICO rating sites, of course, I believe, but apart from believing in a rating site, the important thing is to study on whitepaper, if it seems reasonable then it is important and promising.

There are now many ICO rating websites but not all sites are credible. Instead of relying on the site, I recommend rating the project yourself.

I think that no one will give us useful information without any profit for ourselves. That's why I do not believe in 100% in such recommendations. But this does not mean that we should ignore these sites. They have useful information that we need to analyze.

In general, I believe in the ico rating site, but to invest I do research to find out good or not. It's a matter of money and I have to be careful.

I have learned from my friends that are veteran in this thing and they said that it is a very big possibility that ICO rating sites can be paid. That's why most of the ICOs promoted there are still in 50-50 chance that are good and legit.

No, I do not trust rating sites. You can look at them, but you also need to investigate and check the project yourself. This is your money and you are responsible for them

The rating of the ico is not the only and far not the most important pokazateli to select the ico. In my opinion, first of all it is necessary to pay attention to the product itself, and whether it will be useful to society

ICO rating is not so bad. But if you only depends on ICO rating and invest your all money in ICO its a not good decision. You should verify various way looking team member bounty manager and also project details.

not so much, I simply use them to have a general understanding of some ICOs, that makes it easier for me not to have to read 10 pages of a whitepaper to understand more or less what the ICO wants and how they plan to achieve it, I rely on their research to form an initial opinion, when that happens, I thoroughly investigate the ICOs that are deserving and discard the rest, but as everything is purchasable, just like the ratings I don't look so much at that, I look more what the reviewers write.

I am looking on to the ICO rating as just a secondardy standard on choosing on what ICO to invest because I think ICO ratings sometimes doesn't fit with the project has to offer, my primary standards are the uniqueness, originality of the project, the whitepaper and the Team. Check the authenticity of the project and think if the project would grouw nicely and continuously even after some years, then it would be a good project to invest into Grin
