They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
Actually some ICO Ratings are not trusted because sometimes they are being paid for ratings and thats sad because honesty is the best policy and I think they are not helping our community to have the best project to participate. Please be always careful when reading or searching ICO Ratings and more. If you think the website doesn't really give genuine comments and everything so do some research. But still im not mentioning that everything that is ICO Rated is not legit, only others.

it's just point ,
comparing with any side by their self.
well, point will be good more if u give some payment.
a simple think.
i am not judge every ico like that
but most like that.
since many many ico fail on this year, u can think how the trust work.

Most of rating ico site are fake. But some really good. But I always check team and projects by myself.
Yes, you must do your own research of the project and don`t believe in any ratings. But, on this Rating sites, you can find some interesting ICO to analyze it.

Rating sites are convenient because they systematize information and structure it in a convenient way. Thanks to rating sites it is possible to analyze projects much more quickly.

I certainly look through and analyze these sites, but also adhere to my experience, these sites do not always justify themselves.

No, I do not trust rating sites. You can look at them, but you also need to investigate and check the project yourself. This is your money and you are responsible for them
Agree with you, rating sites can't show objective assessment, therefore, I have to independently explore a project

I do not really trust any ICO ratings. Before investing your money, you must additionally do your own research of each project.

I check only ICObenc rating site but even there the rating can be manipulated, their ICO bot raging sometimes rate some projects very high, and some very low maybe because of lack of content of the project

Not really, ratings are just expectations from people and still, it isn't assured that the coin which is having the highest rating would be the best one especially on newly listed tokens and ICOs, the market is unpredictable

The ICO project was assessed by the team and advisors who developed the project. I am not 100% confident in the appraisal site because it can be manipulated. I am more dominant in seeing ico from the team and advisors in the project.

according to my understanding, we can trust the ICO rating site. because on the rating site we can see several ICOs with good prospects before we invest in the ICO. moreover on the site describes more complete ICO.

I do not believe, I always ignore the ICO rating because they can be paid to give a high rating, I believe more in the concept in the whitepaper then the trusted team than the ICO rating.

I don't trust them, am just using them for tracking ICOs sometimes. We can't know their motivations for providing service.

correct. I agree with you. I also don't trust the ICO rating site. because we cannot know their motivation in providing services. only I use it only to track an ICO that I joined the rest I prefer to communicate directly with the CEO.

No, I do not believe the ratings. It seems to me that they are lying. In addition, I heard that the organizers of the ratings often take money to promote the project in the first place.

Fake reviews are part of the game, it is geered at giving projects visibility and influence. And yes it works even till now, many investors bank on these reviews to make decisions....
But one can not say that because of this one should not believe them as there are genuine reviews out there
