Do you trust ICO Rating sites?

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

not really but you can compare it to your own research. I would rather prefer my own research in in selectig a good ico compare to that of ICO ratings. I am more into white paper and team behind the project.

I must say that the ratings are different. Some give truthful, other advertising information. If you choose the right rating, it can be a good assistant to collect primary information about the ICO.

I don't really trust ico rating site. Although,  you have to put the review of them into consideration while choosing project to invest on. You probably see different rating of your project of interest from different site. Most importantly, look at the team and their white paper to see how strong are the team behind the project and the content of the white paper.

very good info now I know that ico review websites earn a huge amount of profit. I still look on ICO review to base my investment perhaps we still need a forecast on this type of investment , I just need to do more research before I put my investment on the ico that they suggest.

independent check is a must because you know what, most of the ico ratings are just paid to review and generally giving 5 stars depends on how much you want to pay. lets be honest here, there's so many sites kinda like this and the people are always popping out in telegram asking for devs to advertise their ICO and that's not a good thing if the review is subjective because it's paid.

No. This can not be trusted. Only sometimes the rating may coincide, but this is rare. Often many projects turn out to be a scum, which is not very good.

Rating is one factor to judge its good coin or not. Many factor we can consider when we decide to join on ICO beside rating. Good rating does not mean it will reach success in ICO. We can trust several rating website because that website are independent

yes totally, I trust each and every single one of them. They have 1 purpose only which is providing excellent rating score for big investors.

No I do not trust ICO rating sites. Most of them get paid for their reviews. So surely those reviews are going to be biased. So stay away from ICO rating sites.

It depends on you. If you really want to invest in ICO and only believing ICO rating sites or people who give ICO rating that will be a big mistake. Cause most of them take payment to give a good review. I am not saying that they are doing it in bad way. It's all about business and everybody is doing it. So when you invest in ICOs always do your research. And then invest. ICO sites are good for collecting information and data. So always do research and if you think it's good then invest. Never depends on others.
