Starting to get really frustrated at the fact I can't get my wallet to sycnh. Last time it synched is 2 weeks ago. And it seems like there's no one to talk about it.
you have to update to the new wallet : http://fair-coin.info/#download

Did you only read this one page? I have answered this several times. I had this problem - fix is as follows. Make sure you are up to date - https://mega.co.nz/#!s0pSHZra!rON4Y4CnRtsY76oKg_6akuEkpvcprNBMy4pRiRlFLtc Once up to date close app Goto your appdata folder Delete everything BUT wallet.dat and config file Reopen app. It will work.

please if it's possible remove the 0.01 BTC necessary for payouts. It will take me a week and $12 of electricity to get that. I want to contribute but I can't

Still not working, should I delete the .dll files too? I figure the wallet won't work without the .dll. Thanks for the advice. you are in the wrong folder, he is talking about the roaming folder, not where there is the qt executable

Faircoin multipool uses Wafflepool. Wafflepool pays on Sunday if you have at least 0.001 BTC, so you don't have to mine all week to get something.

I feel it's about that time where we might as well start getting pro-active with this Coin.
I'd be happy to sponsor a video if anybody here knows anybody with some good skills.
I've also contacted somebody to help make a nice infographic to explain FAC to the layman.
Pm me with any contacts for making a vid.
Thanks.

Just sold my 1000 free Fair Coin for 53,000 doge, nothing like $25 for free Really wish I would've known you could claim more than once, I would've been claiming 1000 Fair Coin every hour. Oh well, good enough. I honestly don't see how this coin is that great... I think the price rise is almost entirely speculation, and looking at charts it appears to have hit its peak between 5000 and 6000 satoshi. Just gonna take a few big investors cashing out to crash it. The wallet software being very buggy certainly doesn't help Fair Coin. Funny how people talk down to a coin right after cashing out... don't want to see it rise above your sell point, do you?

I'll remind you of this, when FAC hits 25000 sats and more. Also, there is nothing wrong with the wallet if you have the correct one.

The main problem Faircoin suffers from is that the initial coin distribution process at the beginning wasn't actually fair. We all trusted the Faircoin developer not to game his own account creation system and award himself 50% of all the coins spread out over a thousand accounts.
Compare this to Blackcoin which distributed out the coins via the celebrated proof of work mining process pioneered by Bitcoin, which cannot be gamed or cheated, and most importantly is visible on the public blockchain for all to verify mathematically. Blackcoins distribution process is simply cold hard unbreakable logic that cannot be denied.
To attract bigger money to invest into this coin is going to be a problem going forward as word about the truth is spreading.

i disagree, i can't think of a more fair distribution method, can you? bc favors the ones with mining power, comm is chaotic and allows only active forum users to get stakes. the only thing that could have improved it would have been more marketing and an even easier access so that it would have actually reached a broader mass of people

People holds millions of coin trying to cash out at least 50% of them as fast as possible and droping the market every 10-15 min. too much power under few hands is never good.

Sure worked and my wallet synched-up, but showed only a recent deposit into my wallet. My original 5000+ FACs had disappeared. faircoin-qt.exe -rescan did not help, my original FACs were still gone. Luckily I had an old backup of my wallet before the hard fork fiasco happened. I renamed my backup file to wallet.dat and ran faircoin-qt.exe -rescan again; got all m y FACs back.
