Watch these tree NEM, EXO and NODE! Bubbling under: FIMK I'm not familiar with those - getting hard to keep up with all these new alts coming out daily now, but I'll check them out, you never know where the next quark lies. That's my goal for this next boom, finding the next quark for a 2,000 fold return. That's mind boggling to just think about. lol.

In 2014 the best coin will be Monero, this is the only coin at the moment which I'm confident that will increase its market cap by thousands of $.

Sadly, that's what I was afraid of. So then you really cannot trust any of these people. You have to do your own analysis but that's hard to do given there are no cash flows and no assets with these coins so you're investing in an idea or in the people behind them. This sucks! Sorry, but you have to do your own research and due diligence even if you can trust someone. There are lots of people who are quite trustworthy in the wider world, but their investment advice isn't very good because they've made honest mistakes, or honestly omitted something they shouldn't have, etc, etc, etc....don't want to bore you ...

Is there some kind of community agreement on what the best alt coin investment would be in 2014? I would love to hear that instead of 500 opinions? Much appreciated.
I doubt there is even agreement what actually best alt coin investment mean. Is it the alt coin with the highest possible % increase in market cap (but if you miss sell before the dump period your fucked anyway), or you preffer the one with lowest likelihood to be dead after few years...

lol, I'm glad you thought that was funny. I suppose it was a bit naive for me to think there was such a thing. Lol.

Only pumpers and developers making good money from alt coins. For long term investors, most of the alt coins get hit badly.

If that's the case then how come we don't stumble across more rich pumpers? I think maybe they get lucky on a few pumps and lose it on others. I suspect the rich alternate holders are developers with huge premines or who bought into advantageous IPOs.

There ain't no Revolution like a NEMolution. The only solution is Bitcoin's dissolution! NEM!

Long term I'd say 99% it the alts have been big-time losers. You try to get out after a big run and store some of that wealth in Bitcoin while trying to find the next big alt. With the exception of a few alts I would never store any money in alts for the longer term.

Definitely NXT and NEM. The 100% premine wrapped up as 2nd gen coins are the way to go. Don't invest in iCoin, it will fail shortly. nxt

But there are quite a few coins which are worthy enough to keep holding.

I really think Murraycoin is going to be the next big altcoin, like bigger than dogecoin, (certainly bigger than Maxcoin) but no one seems to believe me. I guess once it starts making headlines, we'll see if I'm correct. I also like Dirac, definitely check it out if you haven't already.

Just about all the coins in existence trying to be the next big coin. All end up miserably bad for investors.

Is there any proof of this? If Murray Coin is Bill Murray's coin why hasn't there been any legit news about it? This is simply too hard to believe .

Even if it is Bill Murray I don't think that will mean much, the actual coin itself has to have something notable about it to stand out from the other 200 'funny' altcoins.
