Just bought some on CoinExchange.

Anyone know the max supply?

The current supply is less than 37 billion and coins are minted through staking. The interest rate currently is 0.0005%. So about only 185,000 new coins will be generated this year.

The maximum supply is 300 bn coins, and it will take a LONG LONG time for every coin to have minted.

These coins are only attributed to people who stake and keep coins in their wallet and contribute by verifying transactions.

I think it is beter that they keep there wallets closed for right now( can you immage how people will dump there coins there for a fast profit?) I think the wallet will open when other exchanges reach the same price
And on other exchanges 2 satoshi walls dissapearing slowly💪

Hello everybody. Please tell me if there will be an update of the wallet? With what bundles such a rapid growth of a coin. Any good news?

They should open the wallet and let the free market run it's course.

Also, once the wallet opens on coinexchange people are going to move their coins around and price will normalize across exchanges within few hours.

The real price is the highest price anyone is willing to pay for something, at any exchange. But not with a closed wallet.

Does anybody have the latest snapshot link ? Syncing is probably going to take a long long time even with the 19th December snapshot.

I would recommend SouthXchange for now. Their wallet is working and you can buy Zeit for much cheaper than at CoinExchange. Download and sync your wallet and transfer your Zeit to the wallet. Hold for the long term, let new coins mint and enjoy. Zeit is not a pump and dump shit coin.

Kiklo is working on a new snapshot. But for now the best practice is to restart the wallet every few hours while it is syncing.

Why is the download speed so slow for syncing blocks?

We have a 30 Second Block Speed, this means we generate ~2880 blocks per day verses Bitcoin that only generates ~144 blocks per day.
Advantages to this :
ZEIT Lightning Fast Transfers , 4 Confirmations in only 2 minutes
Verses
BTC , Extremely slow transfers , 4 confirmations take 40 minutes

Our Transaction Capacity is 20X greater than BTC,

But the price we paid for the incredible speed, is having to download more blocks.
Not an issue for most if they keep their wallet synced, and those that only sync every few days are looking at ~24 minutes of sync time per day they were offline.

Does anybody have the latest snapshot link ?

The Snapshot with today's date is almost complete, It will be available for download within 24 hours.

What is the information that is contained in the wallet.dat file ? The private key that will help me connect to the address on the blockchain that contains my zeits right?

And it's not wallet.dat that actually holds my number of zeit? Then why do I have to take backup of it weekly? Since the keys contain within the wallet.dat aren't going to change?

Private Key and all of the addresses generated.

If you are never going to stake , then you can just store the backup after your last stake and not worry about it.

If you are going to stake, you should backup at least on a weekly basis to make sure all of the new address are contained in the wallet.dat backup.
All PoS wallets generate new addresses when they stake.

 Cool

FYI:
ZEIT has just become the #1 Traded coin on SouthXchange , even over btc.  Cheesy

That 1 satoshi sell wall on the BTC pairing is evaporating away on SouthXchange.

Love SouthXchange. Getting mine there for much better price than coin (for now).  Anyone able to get coins of southXchange into wallet? Still have to set mine up.  Got my ".rar" file in my folder. Now just need software to unpack it then launch wallet.  Feel much better when I have my own Zeit. Meantime, it's bag filling time.

I've bought from SouthXchange before. No issues transferring to wallet.
