We need something like the ,  a Doge  type sponsorship for the Jamaican bob team,  ( resourced based ) maybe  a ZEITCOIN movement
foundation ( charity) to be set up ( sorry don't have the were with all to do it myself )

But am sure that with a community as big as ours there should be someone with the legal knowledge to set it up.   the movement is still very young but , and l have been here since the launch, and have read most of the  300 + pages most of which
are about trying to get the price higher  or (WHAT is P O S  ) instead  of coming up with creative ways of the movement giving to the charity's  that support the resourced based economy, could we contact the TVP for some help and support in finding a cause worth supporting.

There are a lot of good projects out there we need to focus on at leased one or two for now so we can improve the global awareness of the ZEITCOIN movement, a water aid charity could be a good start , but the community as to be as one with which ever one we choose.   

If it can be done at a local level, with small project , it would be a start .

Time to stop speculating and time to get on with   Moving Forward.


Edit I know most have overheads to cover but , but once that is covered any small amount leftover no matter how small could be put to  good use

The driving force behind the price and attention should be what we're achieving to improve civilization and what we're building towards. That's what needs to attract people, not the profit motive. If the profit motive
you misunderstand TZM purpose, we are not here to build a specific model, we are here to spread awareness and advocate a new train of thought that will lead eventually to a public discussion on the matter from the leaders of our current world. You can do things on your own in line with TZM, but at your own risk of focus, time and money. TZM cannot compel people towards specific focuses, they are too many, there is too much complexity to know exactly how to utilize people towards specific action.

I have plans that will lead us to direct action like so many of you want, but such initiatives take time. Im certainly not the only one pushing for direct action.

I think you misunderstand TZM. TZM itself is a profit motive. They accept donations. Both TZM and Venus are for-profit companies, and both are doing nothing in their own ideas. What they're doing is spreading the idea, and making money doing it. They themselves will never actually move into what they say they will. That is the problem with TZM.

Also, saying TZM ideals are not for profit is incorrect to. In order for it to be completely non-profit, everyone would have to give everything away for free, not barter. In the end people will barter for profit. There is no way to remove the profit motive. The idea is to move into that kind of system, which TZM itself is failing to do. Their ideals will just make profit in a different sense.

In the end, TZM is nothing more than a news channel that has actual real details people need to know. They'll never do more than that. What we need to do is be more than that. We have to bring attention the proper way, and prove we're willing to work towards it. What Zeitcoin itself needs to become in a alt coin that is used for good. Donations to science, donations to charities or fund raising, etc. That's the kind of stuff we should be doing.

When enough ideas start rolling around. I'm just a developer, I can't do everything on my own. The community itself needs to come together on ideas. I'll gladly help put them together, but the community needs to band together to make it all happen.

I think the whole idea of cryptocurrency is to use it as a currency. Meaning that it has to be used for the exchange of goods and services.
Today all cryptocurrencies , including Bitcoin, are used as commodities. People use it as a mean to increase their "fiat wealth".
Investors just buy and sell in the hope that they will make fiat money.
Miners mine it and sell it to make money.
Even merchants that accept cryptocurrencies, simply set the prices according to the fiat exchange rate. They probably immediately sell the crypto in order to get fiat currency.

The real revolution is when people stop caring about fiat currency and start using crypto currency without thinking about the fiat to crypto exchange rate.

For example:
Normally an IT specialist can provide his services to companies for 1000euro per day.
If he was to provide his services for 1000 zeitcoins per day without thinking about the exchange rate, this would inevitably creating an upward pressure to the exchange rate of zeitcoins. If a lot of people did that, then inevitably the zeitcoin would reach euro parity...

I do realise that this is difficult to do at the moment because people need money to survive.
But it would be possible for people to provide services for a smaller price than they would in fiat. This would still help the coin gradually gain value. It needs years but it is possible.

I think a good start would be the people in the cryptoworld. We all have skills. Maybe we can offer some of our time for a smaller price in Crypto.It doesn't have to be only the developers that help the coin. We can all do it.

The problem is, you can't change an adaption rate that fast.

Imagine you make $2000/month. 2000 ZEIT is barely over 1 cent. While it would be nice to look at things like that, people can't afford to switch like that, in order for that person to make their $2000 a month, they'd have to make 400,000,000 @ 1 satoshi, 200,000,000 @ 2 satoshi, and so on. Obviously that's not possible.

Even to cut that in half, at $1000/month, would be 200m/100m at current rates. Not going to happen. :/
