I've been looking for a review or announcement or anything. Nothing obvious is coming up. Normal gradual increases in interest don't usually resemble a pump.

Anyway seems to have settled down a bit now.

We had about 10-12 BTC total volume. It's just a few people buying up ready for MN implementation. The distribution of buy order was such that the price quickly rose to fulfill those orders.

Now that they have bought their coins, the price will invariably drop as people try to cash in. A 7x jump is not sustainable but something I imagine we'll far exceed once PoS and MN are implemented.

What is great to see, however, is the increased mining support as people are clearly investing hashrate to obtain MNs.

I think you are right. But I must say that the recent increase is attributable to the masternodes news

At this point it’s not worth mining unless you have a 1080ti and can afford the electricity. I mined 4K on my gtx1060 but once I saw I wasn’t grabbing 200 coins a day I stopped and just bought 30K to add. It’s cheaper and doesn’t ruin your card. Now, if GENX offered CPU mining I have about 7 decommissioned servers that I can use to CPU mine. Right now they are smashing Wavi coin like champs.

edit - i never mined for 24 hours straight, maybe 12 hours per day to grab about 4K

Would you get much out of mining with  one GTX 1050ti 4gb?       I found and awesome deal on an MSI gaming laptop.   I needed a new laptop anyway, but if it would be worthwhile to mine any on it,  that would be an extra bonus!

GENX rallied well and has been trade around 30 satoshi recent hours.
In my prediction, it's hard for GENX to raise around 60 to 70 satoshi, but 50 satoshi might be reached next few weeks.

Actually, it did reach 75 sato the past few days.  I think that over time and as the team releases further developments and features, all things being equal, it will be reasonable for GenX to reach greater heights price wise.  IMO 100 sato is a starting point as i have previously stated. But hey, lets see how it goes.  I have every belief in the team and the Genesis project.

High daily volume has been maintained today.

Lets get a big support buy line on trade satoshi. We don't need too push  the price up and then the price drops quickly again.

I agree with you on that.  Solid and steady growth is what we need with GenX, not sudden price spikes because that usually end up going the opposite way shortly after.  The project speaks for itself.  Even the wallet update teaser shown on the discoed a few days ago look very impressive with the addition of masternodes.
