I really don't want to turn these into an economics class but the both definition of what investments are clearly should settle the argument of whether BTC is truly an investment or not.

Nowadays, mostly of the people sees bitcoin as an investment rather than a digital currency. Well we cannot blame them because it is really a good investment. You can earn a lot of profit in here just be a take risker. Patience is also a must in investment. People is more favorable in bitcoin as investment and as a source of income rather than its real purpose.

Yes it is an investment, like lands and properties. In a short term goal, you can buy bitcoins when the value is cheaper and sell it when its value gets sky-rocket high. In a long term goal, its overall value will probably go higher in the future if you refer to the law of supply and demand. In the future if bitcoins gets more popular and the and the supply is low, you know what happens.

Yeah it is also an asset too because bitcoin has a value already and it is being accepted already by the people around the world though there are some governments that are not embracing the system well we do not care on them because they are not the one who made the bitcoin market price to move.

yes, I also agree with what you explained in this forum, btc is indeed a form of investment, because if we want our profits, it takes time to wait for prices to rise, it may indeed be an investment asset, not the initial purpose of holding btc, but sometimes the reality does not match plan, sometimes the process can change it, what is happening now may be the fruit of the process of adaptation to Btc with the progress of the times and the desires of its users

Because we often hear the news that many exchanges conceded hackers and became one of the reasons for the decline in bitcoin prices. Just like investing in other fields, bitcoin investment requires sufficient knowledge and experience because in the world of cryptocurrency the price may drop suddenly, we can get a big profit with the same amount of risk

Yes Bitcoin has become an investment whether we like or not but most people like Bitcoin as an investment because the profit they have gained from price increases and decreases but if it become a currency it should have a stable price range so investors will not gain much profit due to the lower variation but the down side of beinb a investin asset is Bitcoin will never become a global currency so there are both pros and cons

Well in reality, this is what Bitcoin has turned out to be. Bitcoin has transformed from a form of payment into a form of investment as this is what the majority sees Bitcoin at present. For others this is unfortunate, but for most this is an opportunity to earn some profit. Whatever impression people may have with Bitcoin, it will boil down to the user decision whether he will treat it as a form of payment or an investment.

Well in reality, this is what Bitcoin has turned out to be. Bitcoin has transformed from a form of payment into a form of investment as this is what the majority sees Bitcoin at present. For others this is unfortunate, but for most this is an opportunity to earn some profit. I would definitely agree with you, I consider bitcoin as an investment though sometimes it may be tough for me but not everyday is christmas day and prior joining to crypto I clearly understand how it works.
