Well if those predictions are from famous crypto experts then their words are might be possible to happen as desired. Although i don't believe in predictions because for me the Crypto currency prices are really unpredictable but this is better that spreading an FUD that will just make the market to become worst. For me, 2019 is a long waiting that better we should expect a Crypto price bounce back before this year would end.

Well if those predictions are from famous crypto experts then their words are might be possible to happen as desired. Although i don't believe in predictions because for me the Crypto currency prices are really unpredictable but this is better that spreading an FUD that will just make the market to become worst. For me, 2019 is a long waiting that better we should expect a Crypto price bounce back before this year would end.

I honestly also don't want the price to fall to this severe. but I am sure that all of this cannot be separated from those who have large amounts of coins, and spread the FUD so that the price is destroyed, then they will again buy the coin-coins at a very cheap price. Some alts are fantastic projects with great futures, others are okay, others are useless and will fail. It's not a case of saying all alts will do well or all will fail.

From my point of view, all altcoins are predominantly are such correlated to Bitcoin in such a way that, impact of Bitcoin on altcoins is immense. As far as predicting of any altcoins or even Bitcoin is concerned, I don't think any one could predit markets much easily, so I don't think predicting market direction would be helpful. But I would rather suggest that, before investing in any project you should try to understand the basics where is the project going to be utilized for and how hardworking team is engaged in the project.
So currently if you are invested in to some good projects, I would suggest you to hold on to it.

You are right in your accessment that the altcoins are very low and have been so for a while now but it shouldn't be something strange because to a large extent most altcoins are dependent on the movement of Bitcoins. We are at a very early stage for crypto thats why people are predicting massive increases in price.
This cant be said for all alt coins though. Many will not survive the latest purge this year.
