Stop is rational option and take it is to protect asset from bigger loss is better. Some people still hold rest of them keep buy coins, buy/ sell at this moment is really bad decisions. Sideways pattern will give nothing and down trend with long term period can make you bankrupt. Stop right now and start again next time.

The way I trade bear markets is I take profits quick and don't hold onto stacks too large.. so lets say you want ETH for example.. and youre willing to buy any eth under 300.00 and be happy no matter what.. you would maybe buy a small section at 300 then each section you buy after this double the last bid.. so if you buy 1 eth at 300 then 2 eth at 275 4 eth at 250 (hypothetical numbers by example) and when the price finally starts to swing, sell your lowest stack at your highest stack price.. 250 goes at 300 275 goes at 350 300 goes at 400, etc.. the idea is you want to have enough money to buy as you down and cost average lower as you go, and when you go up in price let some go, so you have enough stacks to buy again if it falls flat towards 250,225, 200, whatever.. the problem with most traders is they buy too heavily all in one position and they don't get rid of enough stacks to stay in position when the price starts moving.  Ladder in and out, always have BTC/USDT to spare.. and always feel okay with your first price being X even if it halves for the long term.  I trade this way so in bull markets the market can only leave me upwards, and I've already made the money I intended to off of it, so I don't care in the slightest... its non-emotional and methodical.

My honest advice is to stay away from the market now because of it you are emotionally affected. If you can make money on trading why not you can continue and if not better to stay away and plan your exits and entry. Learn fron your mistakes and fron this bear market.

Never stop trading mate, but rather I suggest to buy the cheapest coins now because most of them were at downfall prices. Don't be afraid that the bearish market is now here manipulating the market. Only one thing I believed was, if we didn't learn to have self control we'll become stressed out and depressed. That's why in most certain cases a trader will dump their holdings, despite of deciding to hold long terms. Day traders couldn't establish good trades while bear market wasn't over yet. Stop day trades and prefer to have long term trading.

When you do base on usd value then you would definitely lose up your profit when the market tends to go down again but the fact you are earning more than on the token value which means it doesn't really give a useless result into your trading. Just continue to accumulate coins since they are still on low ranges because sooner or later market will have a recovery. Nobody knows on when but for sure there will be.
As long you are earning on token value I don't see a reason for you to stop.

If I am in your position I would stop. Specially with ETH trading.
It could be the best bear market now and a good time to hoard ETH.
Maybe a month from now there would be a big explosion that could happen and the price might get back to $500. With that an easy profit can be made instead of playing with the trade market now which is getting harder to predict. All the day trade profit could be taken in an instant. (if a sudden increase happens)

If you think you can't handle the current market trend then better refrain from doing trades for now and hodl what you currently have. Besides BTC and ETH are worth to put a shot on hold no matter how risky it is. Continuing will just lead you into more losses because you are out of strategy due to being worried and can't think properly what things to be done.

There are lots of traders who are still in action even with the trend like this today because they know what they are doing. If your purpose is to hold for long then disregard the price but instead add some quantities on your stash. If no more ammos then patiently wait.
