In the following year ETH will overwtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency. I would dump your bitcoin while despite everything you can.  Highly impossible to happen,but why you are saying that ethereum will over take the bitcoin by the following years,some predictions of technical analysis based or based on what? |

Ethereum has already surpassed Bitcoin, it really depends on your perspective. In terms of utility, Ethereum is far superior due to its VM functions. Also, if you sum the value of all ERC-20 tokens with the Ethereum mcap, you'll see that Bitcoin dominance is only around 10% higher, which is pretty crazy considering Ethereum only launched in 2014.

No i do not think so that etherum will overtake bitcoin cause bitcoin is the king of crypto. Bitcoin is more known to people than etherum. If any investors want to invest then he will invest on bitcoin cause bitcoin have more popularity than etherum.

Bitcoin is not comparable to anything else. Etherium is a pretty good coin . In the future, it will not exceed all other coins, there is no point in it. But it's not OK to compare Etherium with Bitcoin.

I don't think that this is possible because all the countries are speaking about bitcoin and not about Ethereum and so, this would be strange if all of those guys would change their mind about cryptocurrencies. |

No, bitcoin will remain number 1 cryptocurrency for years to come, the most recognised coin is bitcoin some people don't know other digital currency exit except bitcoin.

I was part of those that said ethereum will overtake bitcoin in the future but I think then I was in my dream of which I have come to reality. Bitcoin is still the boss.

I have a significant investment in Ethereum but I don’t believe that it will ever replace or overtake bitcoin. People knew of bitcoin first before cryptocurrency. New investors prefer bitcoin instead of the alternatives.

Actually Eth is good coin we know, but btc is king of all coin.Eth not nearly to btc because btc and eth have long distance their price.i didn't think so eth will overtake bitcoin.

Still marekt is suffering from red color and both Bitcoin and ETH is part of it! ETH is hitting $300, where Bitcoin is hitting $6500. The difference between in both is $6200 which is too high. Si id don't think Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin in future. Bitcoin is father of father of all coins, but in next century may be it is possible.

That's your opinion but in my own opinion I don't think that will happen any time soon, in the future, ethereum network will share it's market value with other smart contract based platform making the value not to go so high, |

I think it is entirely likely that Ethereum will displace Bitcoin as the largest coin by market cap though I don't know if it will happen within a year. Ethereum has the best use case of any cryptocurrency and is actually more of a platform when you look at all the projects being built on the ERC 20 token standard. Far more developers are working on building things on the Ethereum platform than on Bitcoin. Bitcoin used to be over 80% of the Cryptomarket and this fell to as little as 33% last year before recovering slightly to 54% in the bear market.
