I don' think ETH can overtake BTC especially as what I see is that ETH's value depends on BTC so it might hard for ETH to surpasa BTC at the mean time. But as we don't know the future maybe in some times the table would turn around.

No one really knows, what if whales played and bring more support to ETH project, we really don't know what they are planning and which ways they wanted crypto to move, but from this current market it will take a long journey and a lots of money to be bring in to ETH project before it can takeover and dominate this business.

Yes I do already made a reply for this thread but it seems that my mind was change now due to market situation. ETH was being surpassed by XRP in terms of market price and market cap volume. Meaning to say that XRP had more demand than any other crypto listed in coinmarketcap. I just hope that ETH will going to continue to sore high.

Are you sure of what you are saying? That cannot happen. Just imagine the marketcap between bitcoin and ethereum, the margin is so wide, that i do not see it happening. If you talk of ethereum having more percentage growth than bitcoin, then that can happen. I am agree with you. After ethereum price drop below $100, i dont think ethereum can compete with bitcoin. Many good coin will compete with ethereum and perhaps there will be a new coin able compete with bitcoin in market cap value
