I alsot thinking about the technology of ADA I think this can’t beat the ETH on top even we heard so many good reviews about ADA. I know the competition of a good blockchain technology is rising but I still believe that ETH will survive on this competition at least for the next 5years.

There a big potential for ADA to replace ETH on top but maybe this will not happen easily because for sure ETH will fight for his spost until his last breath so if ADA will continue to deliver a good product maybe we will a new coin on the Top2.

The only real advantage of Ethereum over Cardano is the early start of the ETH network. I think this advantage will slowly dwindle especially if Cardano continues to develop and improve its platform. Cardano has just entered the next phase of development -- code name Shelley. The 2 main objectives of Shelley are better decentralization and high degree of autonomous operation. Being the perfectionist that they are, I have no doubt the Cardano team will do a great job to achieve these objectives.

These are good points, but we should know that Ethereum has gain ground in many areas in this cryptocurrency industry , so we should not imagine that the competitors will destroy ether overnight, so we have to leave everything in the hands of the future because the future will tell.

I like cardano a lot, (actually buying at this price can make you a rich person) but surpassing ethereum is a huge thing and cardano isn't that big right. Maybe in the new bull season cardano can destroy ethereum.

the ambition to destroy Ethereum looks like a joke if you see the fact that most projects still chooses Ethereum as their platform, every day I see several projects built on Ethereum but what about Cardano? I believe that ADA will be very great in the future but I don't think ADA can be great like that cause there are so many other good altcoins like NEO or EOS so why you guys think ADA can be the next ETH or can destroy ETH in the future . I don't believe so, I think only EOS or NEO will be able to do that with ETH.

Agree. It'll be hard, if not impossible to take down Ethereum easily since it has first-mover advantage (like Bitcoin). A lot of decentralized applications and tokens have been launched on the Ethereum blockchain, and companies, as well as, individual developers are interested in it. This shows that Ethereum has strong branding in the mainstream world, as many people use it in contrast to newer smart contract platforms like ADA and EOS.

Of course, without doubt, Cardano will be a solid smart contract platform in the long term, because of its dedicated development team. However, it could rise to a point where it remains the third largest cryptocurrency by market cap behind Ethereum. Cardano will become an extremely scalable, secure, and innovative smart contract platform in the future, making it one cryptocurrency you wouldn't want to miss in the future. Right now, prices are dirt cheap compared to Ethereum and other leading smart contract platforms like EOS and NEO.

As Cardano continues to bring unmatched security, and constant innovation, it'll be head-to-head against Ethereum. More than EOS, Cardano has better chances of becoming closer to Ethereum in terms of popularity, and mainstream usage. But it will never destroy Ethereum, just like any other cryptocurrency won't be able to destroy Bitcoin in the long term. Just my opinion

Being the ETH killer is a claim that many systems have done, however there is still nothing in view that can compete with the huge adoption of ethereum worldwide

If elephants fall into a ditch, they all have fun! Ethereum passing the worst time and people starts to comparing Ethereum with every coin! This is not the good thing. We trusted on ethereum, By falling the price,  we changed our minds? I think Ethereum will be back with stronger than before.

first, we want to be like BTC-LTC pairing in which individuals who can't get into BTC take a look at LTC and say heys that higher tech and much cheaper so that they can purchase plenty of it to hodl onto. I don't assume we have even reached that degree yet all of the traction which we are getting is in reality due to the hype as to what the future holds for ADA.
