can someone please help me to solo mine with cudaminer?

i have set the conf file

daemon=1
server=1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password


and run this .bat  

cudaminer --algo=scrypt:2048 -o http://127.0.0.1:9988 -u user -p password

cudaminer runs, but i get this error

json_rpc_call failed, retry 15 seconds
http request failed: Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1:9988; no error

its not just this coin Sad  cant seem to solo any coins with cudaminer

now it says  stratum_recv_line failed .... retry after 15 seconds..   i am using 2-28 ver of cudaminer
