Guys,im thinking about starting unofficial promo by me.What do you think about this?
Sounds great. What are your plans? Can the owners of the chickenstrips and hashing pools please take a look at them? Neither is working atm, which means I don't think we have any functional SPN pools.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

In the Mintpal voting, does anyone know what happened to COOL? They were in 3rd place with over 18k votes on July 19th. Now they're in 50th place with a little over 4k votes. Were they cheating or something? In any case, great for us. That's a good reason to keep voting. Other coins may get knocked down for whatever reason.

Alot of coins got dropped down the voting list when botting started. More than likely they auto voted to where they were! !!KEEP VOTING SPARTANS WE WILL BREACH MINTPAL'S RANKS!! AROO!

@dev, The OP information is outdated. Would you please update the "Exchanges" section? Europex has also opened a LTC market for SPN And according to C-cex Twitter, it will delist SPN soon. Hope dev can contact C-cex to help save the listing

Could we please have some communication from the dev as it's been a good while since we have heard from him. Though I can appreciate he may have other commitments but with any coin to me its all about having an active dev and community for any coin to succeed and move forward. Don't want to sound like a bitch but i'm sure we can all understand this. Especially since most of us have been very patience and loyal and mined the coin from the very start..!

point your miners to the PC with the open wallet, you will need to adjust the conf file to get it running, there are examples all over this thread. e.g. localhost:port / 192.168.1.1:port Edit: conf file: rpcuser=username rpcpassword=pass rpcallowip=192.168.1.* rpcport=55883 server=1 daemon=1 listen=1 rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 addnode=54.186.126.94 addnode=54.186.242.36 addnode=54.186.245.111
If the wallet is on the same PC then 192.168.1.* should be localhost/127.0.0.1.

With all the recent pool issues, I've been solo mining the past few days. I know there's considerable variation when not using a pool, but it seems like I've consistently been finding fewer blocks than the expected based on the network hash rate. Has anyone else had the same problem when going solo, or have all of you been getting the blocks I haven't?

It will be a number of hours until I have access to my miner (like 9 or so). But if no one has been able to help you by then, I'll post the conf file and launch script that I use. Note that I have a Linux miner, not Windows. But aside from path and program execution differences, they should pretty much be the same.
