Is this really happening. I think this will be huge support for existing of bitcoin. Recently,I heard that Samsung started to accept Bitcoin on 3 countries. It is said that customers in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, and Kaunas in the countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania will be able to purchase Samsung smartphones, tablets, laptops, TV sets, and more with cryptocurrency.
This is an old topic,i believe that samsung announced this early this year or late last year,so i dont know why you guys has been surprised about this issue,i forgot to bookmarked the thread so I can't share the topic . Samsung and south korea has almost announced their support to bitcoin and cryptocurrency the same time,and this is a big help towards our community |

It is truely a welcoming use for all of us cryptocurrency users. Hopefully this will be the start of new great thing for cryptocurrency community. And be able to set as an example for worldwide acceptance of bitcoin and other cryptocurrecies too. |

You should at least share the links so that we can read and comment about it. Anyways, maybe you are referring to this article: (UPDATED) Samsung Stores in the Baltic States Still Don’t Accept CryptocurrenciesI'm not surprised by the Baltic + Samsung accepting it. Those states are very friendly anything related to cryptos (ICO,blockchain). Yes its a welcoming news and this is just a small step for crypto acceptance. Perhaps this is just a experiment for Samsung and if they see it going a positive way then it might be rolled out to other friendly nations as well. Good to see this article as it is eye warming when I see giant companies actually step forwarding to invest money into the bitcoin and also start accepting it and thus pushing it forward. However, it is so pity that being giant like that it has not helped the market move in any positive direction. May be this is the lesson which states we need more people on board, a single institute may not be helpful or its insufficient for its deeds. This may take up more giant like apples, google, Facebook to jump in with acceptance of the crypto currencies in their wallets. |

Boooommm!!! Another big name embracing Bitcoin! Samsung will surely further legitimize the image of Bitcoin as a means or mode of payment on a global scale. Bitcoin is slowly moving its way up to the mainstream scene. A few more years from now, I'm pretty sure Bitcoin will be on a whole new level!

You do not have to wait for Samsung to start accepting Bitcoin, most of the smaller ecommerce retailers already accept Bitcoin payments via payment processors, so you can buy some of the Samsung product via them. <Obviously this is not the ideal method to do this, but it is a temporary solution>  You can also ask someone on the forum to buy you the product that you want to buy and you can place the bitcoins for that in escrow, until you receive the product.  |

Looks like this is still an ambiguous news, why is that? the info that you provide is still not certain the truth, it is better if you give the official news website so that this does not become news that still has no clarity. A Samsung spokesperson said in an exclusive email to Hard Fork: "Our answer is: This rumor is not true."
Everything seems to be forged. CopPay didn't explain why such a misleading statement was announced. The company did not make an official response, but they insisted that they were communicating with Samsung. However, Samsung said that this is purely false.

For this year, i heard several times about samsung in crypto related news. I think samsung want to adopt cryptocurrency in their company uses. It will not be a surprised if someday samsung create their coins in cryptocurrency. Crypto still have long way to go and a bright future. |

This rumor has existed from 2016 ago, so I think it's still only rumors about Samsung's involvement in the cryptocurrency industry. Samsung is currently participating to improve its graphics by engaging with bitcoin and crypto. I think this is good and will have other developments in this industry. |

SAMSUNG is indeed a very reputable company and seeing it accepting bitcoin is a great step towards bitcoin adoption. Although the countries involved herein are only those which have already been good towards the crypto or better highlighted as crypto-friendly nations.
Hoping to see the times when other countries would also come forward.
PS: Samsung's acceptance is in every way a great initiative and a great example for others.
