I tried to withdraw about 1BTC two weeks ago, I got a transaction ID after about 1 week, but the transaction ID seems to be invalid and when I check the blockchain of the account I tried to transfer to, the transaction does not show up.

I tried to get in touch with the support and sent 5 mails already with not reply. Does anybody have an idea how to contact the support?

Kumala, read and learn:

http://www.coindesk.com/investor-group-offers-buy-mt-gox-one-bitcoin/

Creditors will have two options. They can either receive a prorated amount from the 200,000 bitcoins recovered by Mt. Gox equal to roughly 20 percent of their claim, or obtain an equity stake of that amount in the revitalized Mt. Gox exchange.

The investor group pledged to set aside 50% of transaction fees to pay back creditors over time.

yes, withdrawals work

However, it seems to me that it is so hard to find out who the owner of vircurex.com. Or how you can bring a civil action against a site from the Internet?

that is exactly what kumala is trying to do by freezing the balances and releasing them slowly, and we know from this example how little of chance it has of working because the debt would take years to pay back with 100% of revenues going straight back to that.

The fact that the current value of the coins is so low could also provide him an opportunity to buy back some of the losses at a cheaper rate then what he lost them for.

I hope he found some funds and bought some coins at really cheap prices in the last few days. He needs to pay back 40-50% of the frozen funds if he wants to boost the volumes. I see from the website that he just added auroracoin and zetacoin. But won't be enough. Release some funds and lower the fees to all those people who are still your creditors. 1st thing to do!

My lite coins are unfortunately still frozen  Sad
Has anyone's litecoins been unfrozen yet?

unless kumala finds a way to inject new funds into the company we have no chance to get anything back. with the revenues generated by the trades in the exchange we might get everything back in year 2050
If you want a chance at recovery START TRADING!

I agree 100%. Wished I had been left with something to trade with.

exactly!! do you think I'm going to bring more coins and start trading on vircurex after they froze me over 40 btc??
that's why I proposed to kumala to find a way to refund at least 50% of the frozen coins (in a fairly proportional way this time) and provide incentives in terms of lower fees to those affected so they can resume trading and trade even more than before on vircurex

They have no money, any sane person would have done a payout %, the reason that option wasn't taken is because it would have been an insulting amount (much less than 50%), that's why there is this bizarre 50% to the top 50% to the bottom, it's to hide their losses. It sounds fair until you realize how dumb it is, there is nothing fair about that payout system, all it does is allow them to claim they repaid tones of accounts (all of them dust).

OK. Funds were frozen. Some kind of allocation plan is/was in place.

Was anyone left with UNfrozen BTC or LTC? I don't mean minuscule amounts.

Has anyone had LTC or BTC amounts UNfrozen? Any amount?

Ok, I didn't see this posted: here is the link to the first quarter report form '14.

It details the exact number of accounts and funds frozen, among other things.

WTF!??!!? how the hell did he lose so much! numbers from latest report don't add up!!

Kumala
is this a joke??

how is it even possible that you are in this situation?
the losses due to the theft were much lower!

from the 2013 may report:

The total losses of the security breach are
1454 BTC
225,263 TRC
23,400 LTC

and from the august report the FTC stolen were 150k

FTC double spend attack causing a loss of 150,000 FTC

and now it's a total of over 5000 btc most part of which is due to missing 125K LTC???
no fucking way!

BTC:
Number accounts with frozen balances 352
Total frozen amount 1,748.50 BTC
FTC
Number accounts with frozen balances 42
Total frozen amount 152,106.24 FTC
LTC
Number accounts with frozen balances 2625
Total frozen amount 125,883.05 LTC
TRC
Number accounts with frozen balances 77
Total frozen amount 127,835.98 TRC

so BTC were 1454 now are 1748 = 294 more
LTC were 23400 now are 125883 =  102483 more, total in btc at these prices 3184!
FTC more or less the same for equivalent 30 BTC
TRC were 225263 now are only 127835, so almost half of it, for an equivalent of about 38 btc

Total BTC missing: 1748+3184+30+38 = 5000 BTC

this is unbelievable, so either you are blatantly lying, or you lied in past or you are a fucking retard. I believe the three of them unless you give us more explanation.

They should be paying interest on frozen funds, yes?  I mean our frozen funds are what's keeping the site running...

Or do you think this will be taken into account during the "monthly allocation" on frozen funds?

I doubt it...

Coinbase for selling BTCs
Fold for spending BTCs
PM me with any questions on these sites/apps!  http://www.montybitcoin.com

or Vircurex for trading alt cryptocurrencies like DOGEs
CoinNinja for exploring the blockchain.
