If everyone started buying on cryptorush ONLY on one particular day, might bring some new stability and price rise to this.

I'm all in for strategies on countering the bots, I mean just look at the cryptsy order book. I'd say half the whales transferred there from Mintpal..

WSJ article: [Suspicious link removed]j.com/moneybeat/2014/03/07/lakota-indian-promotes-new-digital-currency-mazacoin/ Anyway, we need to ratchet down the enthusiasm a bit. Here is the relevant statement: CORRECTION: An earlier version of this post said mazacoin had been adopted as the Lakota currency. It has not been officially endorsed by the council.
The upside is this, when it does get endorsed, then it will go gang busters. Yeah you may have to wait a lifetime in vain for that. Devs went silent on their 2 twitter feeds. Also on the official forum you find this disturbing statement: "Are you guys associated with any of the american indian groups? For example the Assembly of First Nations or American Indian Movement?"
The AIM movement is currently not a fan of MazaCoin. Because the developers (myself included) are white. They believe it to be a "white man's scam" at this point. As for First Nations there may be more sympathy there, but so far they are silent.
http://cryptominers.freeforums.org/getting-associates-t26.htmlAlso, it would seem Payu is not even a member of Lakota and Forbes claimed that Harris was a member of the tribe, however, there is no one on the rolls named Payu Harris or Payu Kimitsu. http://www.indianz.com/News/2014/012781.asp Confirmation on Twitter from the same author https://twitter.com/BEcoffeyNSwkly/status/442316016803004416also Attempts by Native Sun News to contact Harris went unanswered and an interview request was declined by Harris earlier in this year. on top of this someone claimed Payu claimed he's Northern Cheyenne not Lakota. Why didn't he create a coin for for the Cheyenne? Doesn't this all sound like BS to you? Nope http://cryptominers.freeforums.org/the-memorandum-of-understanding-t10.html

Well, shit, I don't know what to think. What about this? http://cryptominers.freeforums.org/the-memorandum-of-understanding-t10.htmlThere's more but here is just an except: During the course of said agreement no cost will be incurred for OSTOED technical assistance, as the objective of this venture is to create an investment for the Oglala Sioux Tribe in the crypto currency market to assist with Economic Development on the Pine Ridge reservation. I read this. This is what it looks like: Step 1) Get in bed with the Economic Development team of a Tribe. Step 2) Go above the heads of the Lakota People and the Counsil to various popular Media outlets promoting new official tribal sovereignty coin. Step 3) With support of miners and media outlets, enforce people of Lakota to use Mazacoin. Sounds like the FED. Go behind people's back and make a "sovereign" coin. Only talk to the finance people of a tribe, not the people themselves about if they would embrace a coin like this. Why is he spending so much time talking to the US MEDIA about tribal sovereignty coins? Why does he care that people in the United States know? Why wouldn't he work way more with the Lakota people themselves and see if they actually feel like using a new cryptocoin first?

One can only speculate but: 1. We know one of the devs is into hardcore crypto mining. He admitted to that himself in the chat. He was most likely one of the first to point ASICs at it and mined the shit out of it from the very first moment it was released, so it's very likely that instant mine stash was sold off rather quickly,. 2. He did even better than that. He got high profile press coverage to advertize it. People started threads on their own for this project. 3-4 or so were started by community. 3. Perhaps they were waiting for this to boil over and ignore it. Last tweet they've posted on official channel suggests that, talking about stupid tutorial. If this were a scam that could be unraveled by details that don't pile up, it would be in their best interest to hope this goes away in few days and people ignore the accusations. The Indian newspaper editor invited Payu to challenge his claims and do an interview with him which Payu refused, which is another red flag.

That renders it useless.

and if you think investing in anything based on one press release is anything but an insanely highly risk prone to fraud investment, then your an idiot.
No matter what, Payu still has more credibility so far than the Aurora creator and look how much damn money it made. Not sure he does. He's not even a registered member of the Lakota. Do you people know how many scams have been perpetrated on stock exchanges by phony companies? Who's to say this guy is not a con artist? There are many red flag already and he LIED, yes lied to the media several times. That we know for sure. Now you wanna play it cool calling it "white lies", sure if that eases your conscience but doesn't change the facts he defrauded investors, making people invest based on LIES and PHONY information. To top this the Mazacoin devs are anonymous and a weird bunch that makes stupid aggressive comments on twitter, they're also white and thought to be scammers by Indian officials. So not one of this Mazacoin team is genuine Lakota, not even Payu who looks indian. "Are you guys associated with any of the american indian groups? For example the Assembly of First Nations or American Indian Movement?"
The AIM movement is currently not a fan of MazaCoin. Because the developers (myself included) are white. They believe it to be a "white man's scam" at this point. As for First Nations there may be more sympathy there, but so far they are silent.
http://cryptominers.freeforums.org/getting-associates-t26.html (official Mazacoin forum) Nothing like beating a dead horse herpy.get in line and buy the coins like the rest of us!.quit trying to scare people out of them so you can buy lower! GROW A SET WOULD YA?

Tactics whales use to manipulate prices:
1.) Placing very small orders for subsequently smaller amounts. This pushes down the pre-filled price which is the "Last Price" on Mintpal, the only price most people look at. This forces panic selling.
2.) Twitterverse, I watched the spikes in AUR today after a tweet about them. This forum, I watched TOP spike 2-3X one day after someone posted in one forum that TOP was being pumped.
3.) Short sharp bursts in price to draw a nice upwards spike on the graph, the only thing most people look at. Volume is _not_ visual on the Mintpal graph, Cryptorush it is but not clearly.
4.) Sell and Buy walls. Not sure how possible this is without whale money.........
One could start a twitter account like The_Pump_Brahs or whatever and use it to drive the pump chasers on there.

The dump hasn't happened yet because the devs are still on their media rampage feeding lies to news outlets to hype the coin up.
Seriously, you lie to WSJ so much that they have to make a correction to the Mazacoin article that essentially renders it pointless (i.e. "OFFICIAL FIRST TRIBAL NATION SOVEREIGN COIN ISN'T ACTUALLY OFFICIAL YET, THEREFORE NOT THE FIRST, THEREFORE WTF WHY DID WE PUBLISH THIS?")
You "white lie" to get headlines while simultaneously keeping the Lakota people in the dark about your epic plan to save them?
Absolute horseshit.

'Didn't approve of everything he is doing' means that there is at least one thing he is doing that they did not approve, not that they haven't approved anything. You are thinking of 'didn't approve of anything he is doing.
