Gold or shit? Heh, of course, gold, that is Ethereum. Ripple is just a scam for hamsters, on which mass manipulations are made. Ethereum is developing rapidly, it is a full-fledged ecosystem, lol. Has anyone ever used a ripple?

Right now I'm not really sure if Ethereum is better than Ripple. Ethereum is indeed a very good coin and already has a large community and competent team and best-selling products. but if I talk about investing, I will run to Riplle. I am sure Ripple will experience a high increase if the market recovers and will continue to grow.

I don't think that they are fighting for the second position but they all excluding Bitcoin fighting for being number 1. And I think it's hard to compare because the participants are not from same site. In one hand ethereum is a decentralised platform based token which is the most popular ICO platform. In other hand ripple is a technology will be used by bank a parent gateway or a protocol. But the problem with ripple is it's not decentralised and it's backed up by banks. So people think after a time ripple will be a no price change token. But as a investment both of them are very good. And always do se research on your own.

So, in my opinion, ripple would be good for long term holding. If you ready to wait for the rise, you could to invest in ripple. Ethereum just better for short term.

Ethereum is a much better investment over Ripple.  Ethereum has a much higher daily trading volume and a overall bigger user base.  A lot of crypto enthusiasts dismiss Ripple for being a centralized coin as well.  It is sometimes referred to as the banker's coin because of the connection to the central banking system.  I would stick with decentralized cryptos like BTC and ETH.

I choose ripple over ethereum which wasn't my opinion at first but with the recent updates of partnerships taking place in the ripple project, I see more successful people coming from the ripple community so I will join them.

I would take Ethereum from this position because of acceptance of other cryptocurrencies that are available in platform. Also really easy to make smartcontract and create it on ethereum bc, xrp giving opportunity to use it and protecting by the banking system which also not that bad, but still ethereum possibilties are bigger

I am always in favor of Ethereum as I prefer to buy crytpo currencies and. Ripple is not really crypto currency. It is the Trojan horse of the banks to siphon money from blockchain investors to get their hands on things like Ethereum basically for free.

Both coins are great and have the potential of becoming great coins in the future after bitcoin. I will go in for ethereum because of its potential of becoming great coin next to bitcoin. Its a promising coin indeed.
