Markets.cx are going into BTC/GHS mining/trading.. They are going into competition with cex.io it seems...take on the big guns.

the website is currently down while they bolt the new system in..

i am not in anyway affiliated to these people.

i am merely posting this here so none of you freak out if you cant log in or access the site right now..

lets hope they come back Wink

Well thats good to know.. its been down for at least 6 hours now and I was starting to think SCAM.. but I'll wait a bit longer..

Oddly enough, their emails are bouncing back.. if they were just doing website maintenance
a) Why do their emails bounce and
b) Why couldnt they at least put a splash page up (not hard) showing that they are doing maintenance??

Yeh You have a point

I'm only cautious because I lost quite a bit of BTC with a site like this... It just so happens that those AWESOME people at Coinbase.com managed to get my money back (thanks guys!!!) so an outage like this feels very familiar to me (same as what happened to me last time I was scammed) ..

Hopefully by tomorrow it will all be back up and will be even better

the more time goes by, the longer the site is down, the more i keep thinking - so long money, it's been nice barely knowing you...

had such great promise... would really suck if this was a scam... and yeah, this much silence for this long doesn't exactly "inspire confidence" in the place...

I hate to break this to you. There is almost no way a ddos attack is keeping the site down.
They use cloudfare and even a 65Gbs attack is smallfry for these guys http://blog.cloudflare.com/65gbps-ddos-no-problem

Still no withdrawals from the wallet address....

It wouldn't make sence to implement an additional BTC / GHS market and than simply dissapear a few hours later. If it was a ponzi sheme without any real hashrate in the Background, the could have let it run a few more weeks and simply disable the coin withdrawal.

Say goodbye to your LTC !
It is impossible that they don't put a temporary home page explaining the situation.
I am happy that yesterday I withdraw all LTC from my account at markets.cx.
"ColmanThompson", what do you have as explanations now ?

Thats what i think too. This could have been much more epic if it was a scam.
But maybe they got cold feet.. who knows..

aaaaaaargh just recovering after last scam. I am losing BTC 0.68 this time.

Scammometer at:2.3 BTC

Such pain
