Wild Rrig (0.28.1) makes at the moment with Firo (zcoin, MTP) just too many problems (low difficulty result). I am therefore on another engine. The hashrate is also ~20% worse compared to the competition (0.55 vs. 0.72 firo per day).

I use it with (2 x Radeon Vega LC, -18% Power, 1000 Mhz Ram, ~1320 MHz clock)

wildrig.exe --print-full --algo mtp --url stratum+tcp://xzc.2miners.com:8080 --user my_wallet_adress_is_not_for_all.1 --pass x --donate-level=1

Can you check this?

Thank you.
Hi, can you try lower mem clock? Like stock 945 instead of 1000, to check whether this is OC problem or not.

Hello andrucrypt,

i reduced the mem clock to 945 MHz. The first calculation do the "result rejected, low difficulty". The probleme stay for me (radeon software 20.10.35.02 - old design). If you have time (in future), it would be nice that your software works well for me. Thanks.

No overclock.  It's running at 1040 clock and 1500 memory.  I'm using 20.4.2
Sorry guys, will check your found bugs closely only next year. Happy holiday season and good profit to everyone Smiley

0.28.2 beta
- --print-devices now will print busID
- x11k algo will use the same algo for devfee, this should improve miner stability on some cards

Have a good one as well.  I don't think you need to worry about my problem.  I think the card is dying.  It crashes the computer on all miners.

GPU# #0: Readeon RX 560 Series (bus:id  16) (arch: baffin)
threads: 1, intensity:18, Worksize: 0/256, cu:14,mem:
Error cl_invalid_buffer_size when calling clcreatebuffer
failed to start opencl threads

about my specs

Rx 560 2gb
ryzen 3 2200g

Hardware Requirements for Mining ZCoin
Mining ZCoin with the new MTP algorithm requires a computer with at least 8GB RAM. The video card should have a minimum of 6GB memory as well. The newer Nvidia cards are all suitable and any AMD card with more than 6GB onboard will work too.

Think that makes it clear you need 6gb gpu..you have a 2gb gpu.

Hello,

Cause now its cold outside and RVN makes some coins, i took out some of my old heater: R9 290 Sapphire Vapor

tested them all for days extra on Win 10 20H2 and AMD 20 with some higher power usage on WildRig 0.28.2--- all rock stabil!

now in Rig 6 of the best , newer AMD Driver 20.12.1 so that i can use also PM and SRB miner if necessary (and two HP Server 1200w PSUs)

---AFTER 1Hour: opencl driver ERROR and GPU 1-6 hangs

many times tried, next new windows installed :--exact the same again!

any ideas? Huh Huh Huh

And another Question:

what do you take to remote monitor the miner?

eg: for Claymore and PM you can take Claymore RemoteManager.

maybe one good android app?

good that you found a problem Smiley

miner supports only xmrig-like API with no 3rd part application(at least I don't know any). You can set --api-port and check on that port statistics in your browser(locally it will look like http://localhost:6050/ if you use parameter --api-port 6050), there you will find hashrate per gpu and so on.

Hello,

i thought there was no changes in V 0.28.2 to 0.28.3 (in my case now specially for R9 290 cards) and just algo RVN i tired

on three Rigs i had no issues and memory errors with V 28.2, then switched to V 28.3 - on all Rigs no chance to get them work for more then 3 min!

Memory Errors , cards hangs, really bad hangings on all cards of a rig -tried lower all down - same!!

Switched back to V 28.2 and old ( higher tuning) all ok!

So on one side no problem, but.....? Huh

Too odd, since there is definitely no other changes except new algo and some minor changes for other things like printing additional info for parameter --print-devices %)

Code:
Unwanted module "C:\Program Files\Avast Software\Avast\aswhook.dll"...

Mining stopped with code 1.

Is there any option to have the application ignore this check?

Like "--ignore-unwanted-modules" ?

Does the antivirus hook-in cause the miner to fail or something?

I don't see how that would be necessary to make this "unwanted" files search.

Any comments why you have this check in the first place? Possible to make it run anyway?
Feels a bit weird that you don't want a antivirus being present.

Unfortunately there is no such option. Problem is miner doesn't like dll injection, because this is a simpliest way to hack it or debug and so on. And I have no time to make some verified list of dll's that can be used, so... Miner is for mining and there your system should be clean without anything else except things for mining.

Thanks for taking your time to answer the question at least.

I'm just testing, have not setup a dedicated miner.
You had some uncommon algorithm support that I would have liked to test but can't even run it at all like this.

Thanks anyway.

Getting some trouble using the kowpow algorithm on a RX VEGA 64.

On occasion of variance, the [kernel 2 compiled for gfx901] results in corrupt shares afterwards untill it does a new kernel compile.

It's seemingly random at the moment and I've tried voltage, clock adjustment on the gpu/vmem to help, keeps happening on stock or changed variables.

Code:
[13:19:35] kernel 2 compiled for gfx901

Any knowledge on why it does a bad [kernel 2 compiled]?
