https://blokt.com/news/okex-announces-we-dont-fake-volume-but-then-removes-the-blog-post

One more post that I going through regarding found one nice post.
Generally when we come across many exchange trust is what the main concern so we must always consider the trading volume and traffic irrespective of their name/domain/popularity.This holds true when we visit for the first time for any exchange to create account or register. Its always better to go with the exchanges listed in the below mentioned thread by one of the fellow member

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5023857.0

Everyday numerous fake exchanges are created to scam people.Be safe happy trading all.

Fake exchanges and scam sites scattered everywhere as crypto keep spreading around. We mostly experience of hack accounts due to visiting those site, that is why we should carefully check their sites before doing trades otherwise, losses will came to you. Also it is best to read feedback from early customer to know if it is legit or not.

Deception is almost everywhere not only in cryptocurrency exchanges but of course in ICOs. Keeping yourself ready and vigilant all the time is one of the best way to at least counter this fake exchanges and let our money stolen away by them.

Yeap, some bad people are doing their best to get our tokens so that's why we must always check URLs and bookmark exchange pages.

Be aware of fake exchanges. These are hackers and these people are trying to steal your coins as well as your private key. I am also getting number of emails daily regarding these exchanges, but I had never visited on these sites as I am very afraid of loosing by crypto coins. And very important, keep your private key very secured, don't disclose it with anybody.

For those of you traders, please be careful with fake exchanges, because I found a VERY SAME exchange that makes no difference at all like the exchange on EtherDelta, the fake exchange link that I saw I got from my Gmail inbox, which message it was contains about giving tokens like AIRDROP, and there I am given a registration form link and in the form there is a fake EtherDelta link, and this is the link http://EtherDelta.website, and this is the original EtherDelta link https://etherdelta.com/. There is no difference at all in the two exchanges, the images, features and others are exactly the same, so please be careful.

Secure your private key, secure your wallet, do not easily believe things that invite you to get rich instantly, do not easily trust advertisements, because crime is not just at one door, who knows there are many other fake exchanges, therefore be careful.
This is a very good gesture of you to present the idea of this. Thank you very much for the enlightenment dude. Apparently the link for the fake one has been deleted so we won't have any problem on that. I believe that forkdelta is the new etherdelta right?

I totally agree. I always get emails with fake websites. Never believe such letters. Always enter the website address yourself. This will help to save your tokens and coins.

There are ways to prevent this.
1. Do not just click every link you see or have been offered at you. Take safety. Try to google it first before jumping in.
2. Airdrops now are mostly scam or dust. Work for it and give effort and not just sit there for freebies.

You dont even need to secure tour private keys as long as you dont go to websites which have viruses and a lot of advertisements.

It should be the protocol even we received emails we need to confirm things by logging in with the right website, this is how we can protect our assets
if ever that we wanted to verify if the email is legit, bookmark the site to make sure  that you really have the right one things is really needed to be well
protected as many hackers are just around and waiting for any mistakes that will lead them to penetrate with our wallets and empty every single tokens that we have.

It’s great that you’ve noticed this mistake and wasn’t scammed. Btw, thanks for warning. In this particular example, it’s possible to find a difference in a domain name, but you need to be extra attentive for this. Moreover, there are different types of scams, which can be faced by anybody. At the same time, I think it’s always possible to see where the trick is. Probably, the only way out of such situations is to inform support team each time you have some doubts. Better safe, than sorry. I’m saying it based on my own experience, coz I also had a problem concerning security. One day, I received the notification about suspicious activity on my account. I contacted the support team of my exchange (btw, it's cex, https://cex.io/), and they answered quick enough. Of course, I was offered to drop my password and create more complicated one. The representative of support said that they considered my case and security department would solve it. I didn’t lost a single coin, so I guess that everything was ok. Just as I said, you can’t be too attentive.

Yeah, I think that is one of the safest way to avoid scam exchange. Once am able to register for the right exchange the first time, I literally have all my exchange bookmarked on toolbar for easy access and I never register with any direct link in through my email.

There have lot of crypto exchange. But some of them really fake but this all fake exchange look like a real exchange. That's why so many people make mistakes easily. That's why we need to research about every exchange before use it.

If you have a MacBook, then the Safari browser has protection that allows you to filter out fake websites. Use the technique of famous brands and you will have fewer problems.

I'm here for example I do not understand how you can trade on the sets of exchanges, and even more so this applies to those exchanges that no one knows about.
Phishing is one problem everyone needs to be really careful about, if you are using an exchange and have your money in that exchange than just bookmark that exchange so you do not have to type into google each time, you can have it bookmarked and click on that each time you want to visit.

That is the simplest way to be away from phishing because you will not be googling anything and just going straight to the website itself thanks to bookmark. Exchanges that look legit but are actually doing ponzi scheme just allowing people to withdraw from each other until one day there are no money left because they got it all is still a serious problem tho.

Among all the best exchanges there are few highly rated and best recommended but not all are good but satisfactory. Besides these best exchanges we have fake exchanges on internet as well so be aware of such things which is very important to know about it as it can give a bad finish to your hard work. If you want to get rid of such activities then you have to take the ways straight towards best recommended exchanges where no one can scam.
