Here is what I see each time the government tries to stop or control bitcoin-

Bitcoin is designed to be censorship resistant, peer-to-peer payment system designed to remove the control by centralized institutions like banks . When bitcoin eventually achieve mass adoption, it will not really be much of an issue if some Governments place a ban on it within their countries.
I can't give any type of the statement regarding the point of view of the governments in Thier own country except in my country .
Because as here I am living and active in daily hearing results and descion of the supreme court where the matter of cryptocurrency is going on .
But here a big thing that we can see that , government didn't said that they will ban bitcoin or cryptocurrency , the main problem is of the Reserve Bank of India , who don't want any bank works with the any type of cryptocurrency exchange and that why they restricted the banks to not to work with cryptocurrency exchange .
As we can understand that the point of the cryptocurrency lover is also strong , and also of the RBI , that why this case is going to expand day by day .
And I don't think any big restrictions will be apply over the cryptocurrency use , Because as a example we can see in China , where people can use cryptocurrency p2p instead to go with the any exchange that can give direct service of buy and sell with banks .
So I don't think that government will get any type of the success to make cryptocurrency ban in perfect way , they only can make rules and regulations and impose restrictions .

Yes government is trying to stop bitcoin because they want their own control. Bitcoin till now is the best investment asset. It is having big success these days. And government is insecure of this thing. Many people are heading towards bitcoin and neglecting other things. Government wants to have its own monopoly all over and bitcoin is the obstacle so government is stoping bitcoin.

it has happened, there are many who want to try but the fact is that bitcoin cannot be controlled by anyone. That's why China has banned it until now.
I think bitcoin will be adopted by all countries if the blockchain system has been implemented in banking. yes, chances are there are many countries that create crypto itself

Sad to say but the government cannot stop bitcoin from growing even if they use all their power to suppress it. The best approach that the government can do is to somehow regulate it. I believe we all need a balance from decentralization to centralized government.

Government makes the ordinary men poor by taking what needs to be theirs. Bitcoin has been on our planet for long but government seem not interested in this idea and the sad part of this story is that they try to stop this but banning cryptos but I think the way we are united can help us fight this selfish and greedy act of the government

Government trying to stop bitcoin , maybe their reason is to protect their countrymen because some of the users of bitcoin use  it for illegal transactions. Or maybe  they want to control it by their own. But until now one stop it unless they get banning of it on their country.

Ahah, good joke, I agree that because of technology blockchain they can't do anything. Progress is much bigger rather than the power of government.

There are several countries where the government considers bitcoin will be able to harm them, so they try to stop bitcoin by issuing a rule on the prohibition of using bitcoin. But actually what I see is just the opposite, where bitcoin can help the government to support the economy in a government. Whatever the reason the government is trying to stop bitcoin, hopefully they can see in full how the existence of bitcoin actually can finally return to accept bitcoin and can legalize the use of bitcoin in their country.

I think that the regulators are no longer trying to stop Bitcoin. They are trying to control it. Many investors are waiting for the adoption of a law on cryptocurrency on this without regulators it will not be possible to solve it.

Yeah, because bitcoin is decentralized, there won't be anyone who can stop bitcoin from our world.
Peoples already using bitcoin as a currency, therefore the value of bitcoin is already high. As long we agree to use bitcoin as a peer to peer currency, we can use it with no one can strict.

If you look at it in terms of the bitcoin function, I guess it's only reasonable for the government to decided ban bitcoin from being used in its country. Payment systems and anonymity are the first factors for them to decide to ban bitcoin. If many people use bitcoin as the first choice that is used as a payment system, certainly they will restless about the condition of their money fiat. Everyone will use bitcoin and their money will not work so as to cause some economic problems in their country popping up. So for those who decide banned bitcoin then that is one of the best ways they have to choose.

Of course the government wants to close bitcoin around the world because it can threaten real currencies in the real world and it is regrettable if bitcion will be closed it must be very difficult to find side money.

Besides that, the government will try to find a way to control bitcoin/cryptocurrency by making any regulations so they can take the benefits too like their citizen. But I don't think bitcoin will stop in that way because as long as we have a connection to use bitcoin, then bitcoin cannot be controlled by anyone even the government, they can only watch and see how bitcoin transacted and they don't know who is the owner of the wallet. We all agree to use bitcoin as a peer to peer currency, and so far, we don't have any problem except sometimes we got a lack of the confirming which is normal.

that was so funny, buddy. Indeed, the government can only slightly affect the Crypto market. The transactions are still done normally and the prohibition is useless. Even facebook has banned the ICO ads, but now there are quite a lot of projects being promoted in facebook. Crypto has a very great power.

Despite of having numerous of advantages the major disadvantage of bitcoin is that it is still decentralised crypto currency and thus there is no such proper authentic regulating body over the bitcoin who could keep eye over all its activities and specifically the illegal one and thus use in selling drugs, explosives, money laundering and other illegal activities too and because of this thing most of the countries are in against of bitcoin as they does not want to bring any kind of illegal activities including terrorism in their nation but once they understand the potential of bitcoin, they will surely legalise it as this is the only way to stop illegal activities with bitcoin.

From the very beginning government agaist bitcoin as currency
Because they believe bitcoin is cause of destroying the economic
But not bitcoin is helping to grow the economy and gives opportunity to the people
Look at now they're more countries continue to adopt bitcoin as currency
And one of the reason why bitcoin drop the price beacuse of the government against virtual currency

Governments have been attacking Bitcoin with the intention to create FUD in the people in order to stop its patronage yet Bitcoin is surviving. The governments are afraid of decentralization which do not allow them to have full autonomy over the transactions of Bitcoin.

Because they cannot control it and will be hard for them to trace it, so this is the main reasons why government is doing everything to stop bitcoin and they want it to lose values.

I think if governments were trying to stop Bitcoini trying to stop a big event I think it would be a big event because people have a huge amount of Bitcoin in their hands so people can protest so I think governments do not handle.
