I think the goverments don't know what to do actually can't know it. This is a new world order and it is new to the banks and the goverments as well. So they act veird because they don't have an answer to many question right now about cryptocurrency. They also know that they may use cryptos in the future for better money system..

Prevention is grounded in the fact that the authorities see the crypto side. I don't comment that everything related to the cryptocurrency market is bad but the effects from it make many people also worry.

Here is what I see each time the government tries to stop or control bitcoin-

Bitcoin is designed to be censorship resistant, peer-to-peer payment system designed to remove the control by centralized institutions like banks . When bitcoin eventually achieve mass adoption, it will not really be much of an issue if some Governments place a ban on it within their countries.

Well, there are lots of reasons some countries try to stop bitcoin. Why? Because pf its decentralized it can be used in fraud and other illegal activities which is not good to our economy. Still governments wants to know more about bitcoin and theu trigger some bitcoinist to knowwhat is the effect of it. Some country banned bitcoin because they can not control it.

Yes but how can there be mass adoption when even awareness and education about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is even a challenge up to this very date? How can people adopt to it until everyone does when there is no system in place to have it done? Do you have any idea whatsoever?

As we all know that Bitcoin is based on blockchain technology which relies on the principle of decentralization which takes away the power from the centralised authorities and gives it to the users who are using it, this not only optimises that time but also it utilizes the power of masses that reduces the cost of the transaction with an improved level of trust. That's why the government is not willing to transfer the power to us.

When there is a mass adoption of Bitcoin, I think the ban is no longer meaningful. I think Bitcoin will stay alive as long as people are still interested in adopting it.

There is a very good picture in the second post of this topic, illustrating intentions of some local governments to prohibit global cryptocurrency. This is useless and resembles the struggle of Don Quixote with windmills.

Bitcoin restrictions is a west of time, because bitcoin is a Crypto currency that has a potential to save the world, and secondly it is a digital asset which many people invest and trade every 24hrs of the day. Which is government.

If governments could effectively stop a peer to peer network, they would’ve shut down the illegal practices of torrent websites over a decade ago. Even the success of the hydra-like torrent sites isn’t a perfect analogy for bitcoin, though, because cryptocurrency's legal status is far easy to debate.

Even many times Government trying to stop bitcoin but it doesn't happen because a lot of people are still using it and fighting for it. Bitcoin gives freedom to everyone from government that's why it is decentralized that if ever mass adoption will continue i think ban has no place for bitcoin. Bitcoin will continue to lived and survive because people keep believing on it.

This could be happening because cryptos are not regulated. Once they are, AML BitCoin will be accepted everywhere and by everyone.

Exactly, in fact even one country ban bitcoin there are still so many countries who keeps on supporting this technology so technically when time comes those ban decision will be revoke and they will finally support not just bitcoin but also other cryptos. Be confident in this market, I believe we will on a good journey towards a greater future.

If even goverments want to stop Bitcoin, then they get it badly. States recognize Bitcoin and this is of great importance. I think in the future goverments will use Bitcoin.
Very good opinion and I like the way you think.
In my opinion that between bitcoi and the government need each other because both can complement each other to meet personal needs so that both can recognize how important it is if between bitcoin and the united government. I think in the future the government will use Bitcoin.

Government trying to stop bitcoin it is just impossible because bitcoin is a peer to peer computer network programme used in transaction process government has not sufficient technology to controll it.

I wouldn't say that because they have insufficient technology to stop bitcoin, but this is a global phenomena sweeping each and every nation. Regulations is the only solution for them (for tax purposes) and not to control or ban bitcoin or crypto in general.

In order for a government to stop a bitcoin or any virtual trading it may violated most of its rules, terms and conditions. We all know that bitcoin really helps people as what the data says. But because of some misuse and overuse of this system governments are making moves to control the damages and reduce the number of victims. Maybe government is doing this because they want to make sure that everyone is safe and not being scammed or hacked.

Cheesy I think the government is doing this to reassure the conservatives, and in fact, it understands that the digital revolution is unstoppable.
