Too many exchanges?

We are seeing more and more exchanges nowadays. Is it beneficial to the community if we have more of these? What do you think are the benefits and/or the negative impact on having too many exchanges?

For me, it is ok for having many exchanges but there are still many disadvantages of it, like for example it is very vulnerable for hackers and the good side of having too many exchanges are it will help the community to adapt the cryptocurrency. Exchanges with high volume is really amazing.

It is just like having too many malls in a particular country where you can get to buy lots and lots of products and then complaining the malls are too much, when indeed it creates avenue for competition as each of them will be trying to stay ahead of their game so as to attract more customers. That is exactly how I see the number of exchanges popping up.

No doubt, it is a big space and pretty big enough for every one of these exchanges, but we also have to understand that the lesser they are, the less competitive the space would be, and the more rubbish we would be dealt with as customers, but when there is competition, it is more like you being considered first most of the time, knowing there is always an option for you when they flop, and in that case, they will want to retain the loyalty of their users.

Exchanger project bounties because the volume is basically on the top exchangers
So the percetage of the success of this exchanger project is low unless it has strong partnerships

Probably you are right, all of them are having the same interface when it comes in the trading platform. But there are some others having different features or it depends on the volume of the price they had. Most likely traders want high volume and low fees transaction.
I think much better if there is a lot of exchanges out there so that there will be having a competition between those exchange and having a good service to have a huge number of clients as a trader.

There are good and bad sides, the good side is you can compare between exchanges with other exchanges, you can look for better ones because there are many choices, exchanges with the most volume means he is the winner. The disadvantage of many exchanges is theft in the sense of weak security

The disadvantage is on the exchange side where they will be in so much competition meaning lesser traders and probably some of them will fail in the due process

I think it's better to have many other choices than few, one or zero. The more exchanges are created, the competition is bigger and services are better, and bad exchanges fails.

With more and more exchanges, especially if they stand in each of the different countries, of course this will make it easier for anyone / community who wants to manage their finances in the form of investment and crypto trading. Have a good and bad side in my opinion, a good is more exchanges mean a cryptocurrency will be more valuable in the future, more people interested to trade with cryptocurrency cause more profitable, and bad is the price of each coin or token in an exchange can be very different irrelevant due to the lack of a trader in the exchange which causes the inactivity of the sale and purchase of a coin or token

I would not say there is so much of a bad side, except that there could be some shitty ones, but that would be left for you to decide and judge as a user, based on certain criteria in the long run. We are seeing the rate at which the cryptocurrency space is growing, everyone trying to tap from the growing market, and having exchanges like this coming up shows that the time will come when there is mass adoption, it would make it easy for the mass adoption not to get some investors get closed out from being a part of the system just because some exchange could not keep up with the growing space. Now, with many of them, they will be tightening their belts to want to be recognized as the best, as the more the users, the better for them.

when there are so many exchange places like this you should be able to take advantage of the moment of cryptocurrency price differences and movements because cryptocurrency prices usually differ in price and volume.

I really don’t understand why people are afraid of this thing. If exchanges are quite increasing in number, what is the problem?Rather I suggest you all to make a good decision now. Keep things open and try out all exchanges. Learn about them and whichever suit you most, go for it. the negative impact of a lot of exchange is the price will dump easily. we can see if there is a coin registered on some exchanges, it will be easy to do a dump by the coin owners. but there is a positive effect on this.

In my opinion the advantage of having an account on many exchangers is that we can more easily make arbitrage and it is easier to monitor the market conditions because each exchanger has a different volume on all coins. then the disadvantage in my opinion is that it is only more difficult to manage it.

Just like we have some cryptocurrencies that will eventually fade and get delisted from exchanges and Coinmarketcap, so it will be for some of these exchanges in tike to come, not all will be able to stand the competition and this may eventually result to losses by traders and users and a lot may exit as scam while the rest obviously get hacked and lose investors fund and those are my concerns.

There is nothing wrong with having so many exchanges, it will however give a wider option to traders and with competition that comes with it will make a lot want to do something different to attract users, at the end it becomes a win win for both users and owners alike
