Too many exchanges?

I think that the biggest problem with crypto today is not exchanges but crazy number of wortheless altcoins and dying projects, that affects situation the most.

Nope, finding a good exchange is still one of the problems faced by many investors or traders globally. They need to find an exchange which has a vey good liquidity and security for their trading habits. I have also noticed that there are lots of ICO which focuses mainly in having a centralized cryptocurrency exhange.

I wonder how these ICO can surpass the top  crypto exchanges worldwide.

I believe the exchanges are really helping the world of crypto in the positive sense. Since there are many exchanges on the market it has created a huge competition for every exchange to perform and serve their customers with the best form of service. Many ICOs can easily get their coins listed with a little effort compared to previous times since there are many exchanges at the moment. In spite of the huge benefits of the too many exchanges, there are some disadvantages to the world of crypto hence we all need to be careful with the kind of exchange we trade at.

investors often to feel disappointed while developers team decided listed coins in low daily volume exchanges.they consider it , the team did not serious to make investors get their profit.finally investors annoyed and sold their coins.

A times I wonder why the need of so many exchanges that are of very low standard compared to the ones that already exist. I realise greediness can't be removed in crypto world that is why some developers will rely on open source code to create multiple projects all in the name of making money not to actually improve anything.

there is definitely a race to the exchanges... somewhat similar to old days gold rush... everyone after the quick cash...
personally, there are 2 points to this issue... on one hand we need more exchanges so that the monopoly, crazy fees and odd behaviour of the existing exchanges will change, but on the other hand such a chaos and recklessness with somethinng that handles our money is very dangerous...
And too many exchanges will also split volume
I think the exchange market needs more competitors, but some serious rules as to the minimum security or compliance

For investors and the new altcoins have not been traded will benefit. Because the trading floors will compete to get high volume and create great prestige for investors. So they always offer investors like us and easily accept some of the new altcoins listed on the exchange for cheap rates.

Well it seems every bull and jack can open an exchange nowadays so long as they have the money to fuel it. Competition they say spice businesses up but here, I dont think its okay to have so many exchanges as this space Is fairyly young. They may wake up one morning to claim a hack and further tell the users "All funds are gone". The less the exchanges the more we have whom to trust.

well, that is the truth. indeed for now there are so many Exchangers, but Exchangers that are not so well known have low volumes. well, if you feel uncomfortable with this, maybe you should choose Exchangers with large volumes like binance.

in my opinion, this has two sides, although indeed if seen in a real way, it looks more flawed. with the existence of many of these exchanges, it is expected that the security and ease of trading will be better, the exchange developers should be on those two things, because with the large number of exchanges, the focus of trading volume also weakens

There is nothing wrong with having so many exchanges, it will however give a wider option to traders and with competition that comes with it will make a lot want to do something different to attract users, at the end it becomes a win win for both users and owners alike

Nothing is wrong with it. Different exchanges offer various rates, and you can always choose the service you like. Naturally, some guys pick the same exchanges all the time but it is their choice.

To me it’s not in anyway beneficial to the community, cause it’s going to confuse a lot of newbies and make them fall for scam cause they wouldn’t know what they are doing at first when they join. It’s better we have just a few exchanges that are good and legit and good for trading and not just having too many and putting confusion. When I got into cryptocurrency trading as a noob I wasn’t stupid, I quickly searched for the top exchanges in the crypto market and joined them immediately, Bittrex and Binance (currently trading Binance).

The crypto market is growing and its profitability is huge. The reason for so many exchanges that it focuses on many ICOS campaigns that offer multiple transactional exchanges and the future they will be profiting from selling and buying Altcoins and Bitcoin.

Everything does have advantage and the disadvantage. In a way it’s good to have lots of exchanges so there will be a competition among them all on which one will emerge as the best exchange so far, and apart from that another reason could be what you have just said.

But the reason you might not like it is because majority of them are owned by scammers, and that is a huge spoiler for legit exchanges that are still starting up new, cause everyone will now think they are also scammers. But whatever, I can’t fall for all that.

There are plenty of exchanges and many more are coming up, most of these exchanges are not fair in their dealings except a few, so it wouldn't be beneficial for the crypto community.

lots of exchanges that try to be the best place of exchange so maybe you should be able to take advantage of several exchanges that have a lot of trading volume every day and have very high security. make sure you choose an exchange that is very safe and has a very high security guarantee.

This market has many new exchanges but most of them have problems with liquidity and lack of trader. This will make new exchanges no longer attractive to new investors. I personally believe that you should only trust the big deal at this time and do not trust the new exchange because the risk is very high.

The more the merrier. I am so happy to see so many exchanges popping up here and there. There is now a lot of competition among them as there are trying to get clients to their platform by becoming better service providers compare to the other opponents. Some are now charging low fees or nothing at all, others are now having a higher scalability and have now faster transaction completion time. While others are claiming to be hacker free thereby assuring the safety of your fund.

As of now they still creating more exchange and most of the ICO projects are now exchange and I think its because the number of investors and traders are become double so that they keep on creating exchange. In every exchange there are different volume and token so I think it is the reason why there are many exchange.

lots of new projects are created and they are trying to make a place for exchanging cryptocurrency and fiat so as to make lots of exchange places in circulation, you should be careful when choosing a place of exchange because so many try to cheat new traders who have no experience choose a place of exchange.
