The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

As long as you are controlled, it is actually a system that is really impossible to hack, but unfortunately, people often share ambition because they act with ambition. So many of their accounts are hacked.

I think the wallet on the web is the most prone to hacking, because websites are more likely to be fake and users who do not have enough knowledge will get confused when they visit phishing sites and believe that they are genuine.

Of course that is very possible, the crypto wallet we make to store our digital assets. because every thing related to money will be targeted by thieves. And that could happen because of our negligence or indeed our destiny is more tired. if we register the crypto wallet with e-mail, then we must guard the e-mail, don't let anyone know. and we should not be easily trapped by entering internet sites that we don't know, because it can steal our data and finally they can enter the cryptocurrency wallet that we have.

Nothing is 100% safe in digital world. Wallet can be hacked but you can prevent this hacking by taking necessary steps. Use strong password and do not share your wallet info to others.

I know we all aware of that certain things but I don't know why people still may just fall into hackers hands and letting them to used control of our keys. May just because some of us wanting easy money and quick returns without knowing that those are just a scam and could lead them into nothing but having their money out from their wallet.

Yes, many wallets are now being hacked. You have to be careful about security. I recommend do not use private keys and buy ledger nano.

Unfortunately, yes, there are still many opportunities to crack the wallet. But the most common hacking is due to the users themselves.
You can even not remember after hacking that half a year ago you entered your wallet on a phishing site.

Everything is possible in this world so in crypto market if you are not aware of the safety of your coins then hacking of your wallet is possible.but if your wallet is safe and then you are safe and do not give your private key to anyone otherwise you can be in trouble.

Just like an account where one's fiat currencies are kept so also is wallet where digital assets or cryptocurrencies of crypto lovers are kept. Can the wallet be vulnerable to hacking and if possible how can that happen? If you have experienced it before, I want to learn from your experience.
Yes web wallet is hackable, it had been noted a couple of times here, but it is also good to disseminate this kind of OP as a reminder on how to avoid this kind of incident, though it happens only on minimal occasion because it is the duty of holders to secure their wallet, making mistakes in entering phishing sites and other online traps will be our responsibilities, that is why I found ledger wallet to be the safer storage because of the bundled security features, try this one.

Yes wallets can be hacked but it requires some sort of carelessness from wallet owner as well, i think if you upload your private key or password at some phishing link or store your data at some unsafe place online your wallet can be hacked.
That's right, and one of the most common carelessness is uploading a private key to a phishing site, but some people always repeat the error. For example, many of my friends experienced burglary wallets by thieves and made their balance to zero. Perhaps the best way to avoid that is to always be careful when opening a web or wallet site and it's better to use an offline wallet.

There are different types of wallet like soft wallet and hard wallets. There are also several ways to hacks these wallets. For soft wallets like mobile wallet and online wallet, they can be hacked by using phishing sites which either will be sent via email or a suspicious website that looks like the same but have different links. Once you got phish, your private wallet you entered is now on the hackers possession. On hard wallets, the only way I know to hack this wallet is the man in the middle. When you are trying to transfer your altcoin from soft to hard wallet and your device is affected with a malware, the man in the middle will change your address to their address while transferring.

In generl all wallets are vulnerable to hacking but the most safe way for me is to keep coins in a hard wallet on your computer

Everything that is online can be hacked. I believe in this. Every moment we are all at risk. But keeping the computer clean, I think the wallet is safe unless a lot of input is output.

Don't trust any person with your private keys and never give it to other people if you don't know them. Your funds will be safe as long as you secure your private key. Do not click suspicious link to prevent phishing.

Each wallet has a private key and it is safe. It only gets hacked when and only if you lose it or someone knows your private key. So store your private key in a safe place and make sure it will be your own.

I don't really think it's possible to hack the private key.
The most possible thing is by stealing the private key itself, then takes all the stored coins to another wallet.

Yes, now it has become very common. I just hear the next purse. And I'm upset about this. Because the safety of our crypto currency is in the first place. The one that everyone is trying to keep in a safe place their coins. But from hacking, unfortunately. Nobody is insured. Sad
